Just absolutely marvelous. Excellent food, Excellent service and atmosphere perfect small town diner atmosphere. I had a jalapeño burger cooked to perfection, with an excellent spicy aioli to go with it. My wife loved her Reuben, also done just right.
Daily specials.. today's was Swedish meatballs- lots of these were sold over the lunch hour. Also a cocktail menu for those people looking for something extra.
I highly recommend this diner!

You just stand there waiting for a hostess that will never come.
No one to tell you how long of a wait to expect — I’ve stood there for 15 minutes and other times 30 minutes.
This place is not catered towards the local community. If it was, they would offer the ability to join a waitlist BEFORE arriving so we can leave our house (in-town) and not have to stand inside the entry way for 30 minutes.
It’s such a shame because the food is so good and so are the waitresses!!!! We just can’t get over this part of the experience.

I live in Ohio but visit Minnesota frequently and I always make the drive down to Cannon Falls to come here, that's how good this place is!
The food is very good, I usually get the steak and eggs or the breakfast burrito, both of which are tasty. They also serve burgers and sandwiches along with the all-day breakfast. It's hard to beat $3 bottomless coffee in this economy. Even on off-peak days the place is still busy, which is another testament to how great this place is. Service can be a little slow on the weekends when they are busy as the kitchen can get backed up, so I'd recommend coming during the week as it's not as busy.

What a great little place in a small town to have breakfast! We took off for a stay in Lanesboro, to check out the leaves and just happened to stop here for breakfast on our way out of the cities. What a great idea! Everything about this place was excellent. The food, the service, the prices, everything. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're close.

We stopped here on our trip for breakfast. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it. I got the country fried steak and my wife got the fried green tomato Benedict. I would definitely recommend next to anybody who’s looking for a good home-cooked mealmuch better than any chain restaurant you encounter.
