There are several outstate MN breweries that are putting many Twin Cities breweries to shame, and this is one of them. The beer is excellent, and more importantly, they’re willing to explore different styles without defaulting to hazy or fruit-forward trends.
At the time of my visit, they had two IPAs on tap, neither hazy nor strictly standard (West Coast) IPAs (which I do enjoy). One was a red IPA, the other a Nordic IPA. Both were great. Red IPAs are increasingly rare, and the Nordic IPA was a first for me.
The taproom is a comfortable size and generally pleasant. That said, the walls are fairly bare and could use some visual interest, something to break up the stark white.
Also, while I appreciate the visibility of the brewing area from the taproom, the fluorescent lighting above the tanks casts a cold, uninviting glow. Switching to warmer lighting or turning the fluorescent lights off would improve the atmosphere.
The patio is small but well-designed, with a scenic view of the Cannon River.
It’s unfortunate that Cannon Falls isn’t closer to home. Otherwise, I’d be a regular.

Stopped in to check this place after checking in for a bike race in Cannon Falls. Staff was great! I got a flight of beer and sampled some of their recommendations! Space was not limited in this brewery, they had a large sitting area and a outdoor deck overlooking the river! Lots of natural light and high ceilings! enjoyed my time.

This brewery wins the award for best views! Nothing beats looking down on river rapids while sipping a delicious craft brew. Order a Dudley's pizza, and stay a while.

We picked up pizza from Dudley's and stopped in after skiing at Welch. Service and beer were great. Kids enjoyed the games and root beer. A fun atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

Tilion is a super consistent brewery. I’ve been going since it’s been open and they have a large variety of beers, never disappoints! Nice selection of games and most of the time it’s generally quieter so a great place to take the kids to play some games. Also great views of the river!

My husband loves beer, and Octoberfest brews in particular, so this was a perfect time of year to try this brewery for the first time. We were in during the midafternoon on a Sunday, and there was a steady stream of people coming in, which was great to see. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. My husband had a flight to try their different offerings, then got a flight of the Octoberfest, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We'd definitely come here again on another visit to Cannon Falls!
Nothing bad, nothing outstanding. My Pink flamingo beer was good but it looked like swamp water :/ sorry, not appealing. Staff was friendly, interior was nice, patio is intimate.

Lovely, dog-friendly, patio area, where you can enjoy a drink and listen to the river. They had a special seltzer slushy over the weekend and it was delicious!!! My husband enjoyed his beers as well.
