My hubby and I stopped by Streetcar. Service was friendly and awesome. We ordered the Nachos. Hands down best nachos I have had. We got the jalepenos on the side (I am a wimp) and no cilantro ( tastes like dish soap to me). They were tasty! The pork and onions and cheese and black beans!! I could have done without the lettuce, but hubby liked it. Salsa and the Sour Cream with chives paired very well. Can't wait to go back to have more!. We have been there in the past and have liked all our food. Great service great food!

First time here. We decided to swing by to something new on our way home from spending St Pat's day in the Cities.Great food, service, atmosphere, and rich history. We particularly liked how the employees were cleaning on down time.

We shared the Flash Fried Brussel Sprouts. They were amazing. The photo does them no justice. We already love this place. Now we have a must have.

Went for breakfast with my family. Service took forever. The French toast was dry and cold. We found a piece of black hair cooked into a piece of French toast. When we informed our waitress she responded with “it’s probably an animal hair, that’s what it was last time”. She proceeded to give us a $3 discount for the hair. I do not recommend at all. There should not be any hair in the food. Saying it is animal hair does not make it better.

Visiting this area for first time, a good friend recommended Streetcar who is from Saginaw. I had the pan fried Walleye and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly, not greasy and spiced really well. It comes with lemon wedge and a delicious tartar sauce. The sides were sweet potato fries and sautéed vegetables, both were very good. I paired fish with Galatic slap IPA. Excellent choice. My friend had Walleye fish tacos he said were excellent. The fried cheese appetizer was also really good, served with a side of marinera sauce. Parking lot is small, but plenty of parking off-site.

Streetcar Kitchen is a hidden gem in Carlton, and my recent dining experience there was nothing short of fantastic. I decided to try their walleye sandwich with fries, while my wife opted for the special of the day, the prime rib sandwich. Let me tell you, we were blown away by the flavors and quality of the food. The walleye sandwich was a true delight. The fish was perfectly cooked, flaky, and moist. The crispy coating added a nice texture, and the flavors were well-balanced. The fries were golden and crispy, just the way I like them. It was a satisfying and delicious meal that left me wanting more. My wife's prime rib sandwich was a special treat. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sandwich was generously packed with meat and topped with a delicious sauce that complemented the richness of the beef. Every bite was a mouthwatering experience. Aside from the exceptional food, the staff at Streetcar Kitchen truly elevated our dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and attentive service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Their genuine hospitality created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. In my opinion, Streetcar Kitchen serves the best food in Carlton. The quality of the ingredients, the skillful preparation, and the attention to detail are evident in every dish they serve. Whether you're a fan of seafood or prefer a hearty sandwich, their menu has something to satisfy every palate. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience with exceptional food and top-notch service, I highly recommend visiting Streetcar Kitchen. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

We had the Fireside burger and Walleye tacos. Nothing memorable about either. The fries tasted like they were sitting in a warmer for hours and the coleslaw was soggy (like made 3 days ago). Didn’t eat much of either. The server offered the slaw as an alternative to tortilla chips without mentioning it would cost 3.50 extra. Nice place for drinks and a game maybe, but don’t bother with the food.

Very nice casual restaurant and bar in the small northern Minnesota town of Carlton. Prices equivalent to larger towns/cities. Attentive service. Will return next time we're up in that area!
