Part time rv’rs. Never been to the lakes region and decided to go on a last minute trip in late October and after finding believe it or not northern Minnesota closes down after labor day and through a good friend’s recommendation and contact ended up at Stoney Point. All I can say is wow! I can’t wait to go back when it’s “open”. Thanks again for accommodating a couple of lost Texans. 100% recommend for a great resort stay.

We were really looking forward to spending time here with our grandkids. My disabled Veteran and my self just retired after 31 years of military so we recently bought a camper to explore the US.
Anyways I called in February to make a reservation for June and they said they do not book weekend campers until April 1st. So first thing April 1st I called and they said they only had 2 spots left, so we booked it.

Crowded, expensive, hostile management.
1. Pay $330 a night for a cabin and you still have to pay$25 to use the pool.
2. Campsites are narrow and short. Access roads are also narrow. Packed in like sardines.
3.. You can’t have your boat in your campsite so you either have to rent a slip or park it in a spot up near the highway. If you have any expensive items in your boat they are easy pickings.
