My company and I order from this Crisp & Green location constantly, several times a week, personally and for corporate lunches. Between personal orders and business catering, we spend thousands of dollars every single month. The food is great, which is why we’ve remained loyal for so long.
Unfortunately, the customer service and reliability have declined to a point where I feel compelled to share our experience.
Today we placed a large corporate DoorDash order (nearly $400) scheduled for 12:20 PM for an important meeting. Our driver arrived on time, only to be told the restaurant hadn’t even started preparing the order. The dasher messaged us directly stating:
• “They’re going to start making this order in 15 min.”
• “This place is always way behind even if it’s not busy.”
• And after notifying staff, we were told it would be another 15 minutes.
By the time the food would be made and delivered, our meeting was already happening and essentially over. This is not the first time our orders have been significantly delayed, but it is definitely disruptive.
Separately, I attempted to follow up with the owner regarding rewards/loyalty points that were supposedly added to my account. My messages went unread, the Instagram account I originally contacted was deactivated shortly after, and there’s been no communication since. As someone who personally knows the owners, this has been surprising and disappointing.
I’m not asking for special treatment, only basic professionalism, reliability, and communication, especially considering the amount of business we consistently bring here.
I truly hope management takes this feedback constructively. The food here is excellent, but until operational consistency improves, this location is extremely difficult to rely on for corporate or time-sensitive orders.

Took a whole hour for them to make a to-go order. Crazy bad service

My fourth and final visit to this branch. As said in other reviews, even though I arrived late my food wasn't ready and I was ignored by staff for a good while. They then had to hunt around for my order. This had happened every time I visit, so perhaps moving the ticket machine to a place where staff don't have to go out of their way to look at it would help. Finally got my food, and mine had chicken and queso fresco buried in there. I asked for these items to be replaced as I'm vegan, for religious reasons. About a quarter of my order was inedible as a result, though I suspect I ingested some meat without knowing as my stomach was upset soon afterwards - not due to spoiled meat, but because I haven't eaten meat in 20+ years.
As usual, there were more staff than customers in the store. If there was a supervisor on site, they were nowhere to be seen though my experience with them is that even when they're present they are woefully disengaged. Better training is needed across the board, starting at store manager level.
The Eden Prairie site is much better - greeted when I enter, fast and accurate service, attentive staff - and I'll be going there if I visit a Crisp and Green in future.

I love the menu, this location has terrible service. The staff are always rushing but never getting anywhere. Management needs to be present and effective. There are always more staff than customers and yet all the orders take far longer than promised. TAKT time should be evaluated. Training in customer service. Something.

I came in around lunch time and a female employee was stalking the line because it was pretty empty & all of the employees where yelling at her to help a customer that had just walked through the door she wouldn’t have even been able to make a salad because it looked like there was barely any to no greens in front of her ! Management should know how to talk to employees I would have walked to the back to after the embarrassment!
This location is the worst in the twin cities. Every time I have been here they have made my bowl incorrectly. The employees ignore you and seem to be incompetent. I will only go to Eden Prairie from now on.
Unfortunately after 8 pm this place is non-functional. The entire staff is working to close the restaurant and go home, and not serve customers. The chance of being able to place an online order on the app or DoorDash is minimal (folks set the store to closed at or before 8 pm when the store closes at 9), when you go in, one person is working and tonight in this case, the wait was 15-20 minutes to get anyone to make a salad. One guy was tied up at the register, and must have been making old door dash orders (ones that came in before 8). I gave up and left. Absolutely pathetic. They have plenty of excuses though, mostly leadership changes, etc. in my opinion if getting the store ready to close by 9, that means staff should get paid and leave at 9:30 or 10, and focus on customers, and do the closing procedures after the doors are locked. Weird to have them put the food away at 8:30-8:45 when the restaurant is open. Basically as soon as the restaurant closes at 9, staff also leave. Makes 0 sense. My entire point is avoid this place after 8:10….just assume it’s closed. Poor leadership.

I’ve been a frequent customer at this location for a while, but recently the experience has noticeably declined. Service has become slower, staff seem less engaged, and the atmosphere isn’t what it used to be. The owners should really address this soon to justify the premium pricing.

I’ve held off on submitting a review given the 7-8 times we’ve had issues, but today was the final straw. Placed an online order at 5:05 pm, promised to be ready at 5:25 pm. Show up at 5:29 pm, not ready, no big deal. Asked what my name was around 5:30, told them, and they said they were making it “right now”. What happened over the next 25 minutes was pure insanity- I watched 10 customers walk in, place brand new orders, check out, and leave with their orders, while mine STILL had not been started. I was asked FIVE times over those 25 minutes what my name was, and assured my order “was next”. There were 5 others in my exact situation, all of us getting lapped by customers who placed their orders 30+ minutes after ours. Absolutely a joke. The excuse given? That they were down 2 people. Honestly, that I can understand, and being behind is ok as long as staff seems to care. But my point that I made multiple times was that there were new orders, at least 10, being put in after our orders and walking out with their food before ours. That’s not an issue of being down 2 people, that’s a management issue. Avoid at all costs, or have exactly zero plans for an hour after you place your order. I finally left, salad on hand, at 6:02 pm.

I used to love Crisp and Green, but the last 3 times I’ve gone in there and ordered their “Adventure Bowl” they have completely messed it up. I don’t understand why they don’t know what goes in their own bowls??? Are they not properly training their staff?? And not only that, the employees seem annoyed and pissed off. So disappointing. I won’t be back anytime soon.

Absolutely love Crisp & Green!
Crisp & Green is hands-down my new go-to spot for fresh, healthy, and seriously delicious food. Their salads are made with the freshest ingredients, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. I love how customizable everything is—whether you're craving something light and refreshing or hearty and filling, there’s something for everyone.
The smoothies are amazing—perfectly blended, not too sweet, and packed with protein, flavor and nutrients. And don’t even get me started on the açaí bowls... beautifully presented, super satisfying, and the perfect treat whether it's breakfast or an afternoon pick-me-up.
The atmosphere is clean and modern, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. You can tell they genuinely care about the experience.
If you're looking for a place that makes healthy eating exciting and easy, Crisp & Green is it. Highly recommend!

Had to change my review. Ordered online last week. Arrived to find no less than 11 people waiting for online orders me amongst them. After waiting an hour after my scheduled time to arrive I left, never received my food. Left a email on their website asking to be refunded and have yet to hear back. They have no avenue to cancel an order in progress or process a refund. I will not be returning. (Update i received an email saying they will be refunding my order.)
