I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years, but unfortunately, there’s one employee at the Chanhassen location who has made the experience consistently unpleasant. She’s an older woman with long brown hair who typically works the drive-thru, and every interaction I’ve had with her has come with attitude. No greeting, no friendliness, just a cold or rude tone.
Most recently, 3/28/25, I asked her to scan my Starbucks card so I could collect stars, and she told me, “you don’t get stars by scanning that card,” and proceeded to argue with me about it. How do I not get stars on my Starbucks gold card? I’ve used that same process at plenty of other locations without issue, so it was frustrating, but honestly, not surprising based on my past experiences with her.
What’s even more disappointing is that she used to work at the Chaska location years ago, and I stopped going there back then for the exact same reason. HER! When I realized she’d moved to Chanhassen, I gave it another try, but after multiple negative interactions, I’ve stopped going here too. It’s always something with her, and it’s a shame because this store could be great otherwise.
Friendly, respectful service goes a long way, and sadly, that’s been missing every time she’s at the window.

All three of us got different drinks — all three of us left feeling like we had a terrible stomach bug almost instantly.
I’m not sure what was going on this morning, but I feel we were NOT the only three who fell victim to the toilet due to their Starbucks drink.

This was an absolute travesty of a good coffee.
I basically spent $8 + tip to sit on the toilet all day — Hope the investigators get to the bottom of what happened today

The staff was very friendly. The item ordered was made to perfection. However the facility needs a thorough cleaning. The floors were disgustingly dirty along with the tables. Being the location of this Starbucks, I was surprised that it would be in this condition.

The rudest Starbucks around, I will never return to this one! The rudest employees at the drive through made a spectacle, because I handed them cash. On top of that, my drink is not even drinkable, I had to throw it out! This whole experience was horrible and a waste of time! Train your employees to be nice, It's not that hard!

Starbucks is just bad coffee. Your crazy not to go to caribou coffee who actually serves good clean label drinks.

Incredibly slow. It’s a problem when it takes 15 minutes just to be handed a muffin from behind the counter (without a line), much less coffee. Regular occurrence to wait 20+ min for coffee here

The best Starbucks in all of the land! Baristas are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Outdoor patio is nice too, bike rack, etc...very convenient.

My review has nothing to do with food or atmosphere only SERVICE. I use drive thru & it’s very seldom meaning, I only go to this Starbucks when my regular Starbucks is out of what I need. Miss Lip Fillers and Ponytail extensions is so rude (The DriveThru Lady). I guess she doesn’t like the fact that my drink has so many specifications as if she’s the one making it but as soon as I get to the window her attitude meets you before the window is let down. This morning I had to damn near go inside for my drink she literally doesn’t hold the drink out the window or nothing. You literally have to open your car door to reach inside the building. I guess she’s afraid if the heat/humidity hits her face and lips they will melt off. Yes you got one time to be rude to me and ima read you all the way down. By the way this is exactly who you thought it was, Mrs Venti Strawberry Açaí Refresher with lemonade. SUPER LIGHT ICE, LIGHT LEMONADE, NO BERRIES, & Do NOT SHAKE??‼️‼️ Please find somebody to play with. Damn near pour my drink out because you don’t wanna lean out the window. Or did you just not want to lean out for me. Please go play in make up ma’am. Have a better day.

All good until the last couple of sips of my pink drink refresher when I found a hair in it. And I am a cancer patient who lost all of it. So definitely not mine.
