I really enjoyed their wings and the server was friendly and on top of it our first visit, second visit sat at bat and was busier, bartender told us she was “out of it”. Not a big fan of the business as it usually is but the food is great.

Really good food. Still has some of the old style and feeling that Trappers used to have, too. I'm glad that stuck around.

First time here, and I will definitely go back! Even though they were very short staffed, the service was good and served with a smile. The food choices were good with variety and served fast and fresh. The house mac n cheese was perfect, and the fish was as well! Large and filling, not greesy. My husband has the won ton burger, which I HAD to taste, and I will definitely recommend as well, delicious! Very cozy atmosphere and family friendly.

I ordered an old-fashioned drink. I'm pretty sure it was the weakest Old Fashioned I've ever had. When the waitress asked if we wanted another drink, I told her no, because I thought the first one was very weak. She promised me the next one wouldn't be weak if I ordered another one. When she brought it over to our table, the first thing I noticed was that the bar tender didn't even put an orange or cherry in it. That's a pretty big part of the drink, right!? I tried it anyway. I'm pretty sure there was no alcohol in it. I had the other couple, and my wife ( who hates whiskey) try it, just to see if it was just me. All of them said the same thing. There literally was no whiskey in it. I went up to the bar to confront the bar tender that made it. She claimed that it was "1/2 full of whiskey" when she made it, and if I wanted more in it, I would have to pay for it. I told her I wouldn't be paying for more alcohol since there wasn't any in it in the first place. When the waitress came back to our table, I asked her to take it back and remove it from the bill, which she did. ( She was very nice and apologized. )We left and went over to "The Stone Inn", right up the road, where I had an Old Fashioned that actually had whiskey in it.We won't be going back to The Northern.

We’ve been there a couple times for dinner. They are a fairly busy restaurant so there was a short wait both times(10-15 min). There is a waiting area with a couple of arcade games(classic cruisin’ USA, stuffed animal crane), a TV, and free popcorn. One side of the restaurant is more lit and the other side of the restaurant is fairly dim. We have sat on both sides. They offer booths and high tops. They also have a large “U” shaped bar for seating as well. I feel this is a fairly family-friendly atmosphere. The menu is medium sized with plenty of options. Hand full of appetizers, quit a few burger options, sandwiches, flatbreads, kids menu, soups, salads and a couple desert options. I ordered the wings off of the appetizer menu both times. You get 6 true full-size wings and they are delicious and filling. I ordered the yeti style buffalo wings. Which are deep fried, tossed in buffalo sauce and then charcoal grilled. It pairs perfectly with their blue cheese. My wife ordered the Margherita flat bread the first time and a club chicken sandwich the second time, the kids ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a chicken tenders with apple sauce. All 3 of them enjoyed their food and had a great time. And to put the cherry on top, it doesn’t break the bank either. Both times our meals were less than 60 for the family(couple of beers included) We will be going back for years to come.

I've been to the Northern a handful of times, always decent, until last Sunday. I went in around lunch time, the place was busy. I sat at the bar, bartender gave me my drink put in my order and didn't check in with me again until it was time to pay the bill. A different person brought out coffee, and luckily came back to ask I I needed another. The person who brought out my food also was nice enough to give me a water. The bartender clearly was not a happy person that day, and then never showed up to finish the job after I ordered. To top it all off, my chicken sandwich was like rubber. I've never had an experience like that at the northern before, I'll probably give it another chance sooner or later, if and when I do, I'll update this review.

Love the atmosphere - great for families or a casual night out. Great food and drinks. Talented bartender and we have a lot of favorites from the menu - Buffalo chicken salad and the many varieties of burgers. My husband loves the wonton burger and my son the redeye burger. Cannot go wrong with their burgers!!

Good spot for the area. Good atmosphere and space. The food is pretty good. I've had some lunches that were great and others that were just so-so.

Food was decent. Mac n cheese was cold on the burger. Server didn't come by for a while, so we just ignored it.It would be nice to have a side salad or vegetable option as a side with a burger instead of fries or tots.Biggest complaint was something we didn't realize until we got home. We ordered 3 burgers, and the sign on the table said $1.00 off burgers on Mondays. We were emptying our pockets when we got home and realized that we were charged full price for them, and did not receive the $1.00 discount on any of them. Please don't advertise this if you are not going to offer it.

We always love the food here. You always get so much food and it is incredibly delicious. I would HIGHLY recommend the yeti wings. They tend to add or rotate a few items every season which is nice to have some variety.
