Carbone's Bar & Grill

We have had some pretty bad service at this location but tonight it was terrible. We ordered at 5:02 we looked because of happy hour. I ordered a lemonade my husband a water and a half order of cheese bread. We also ordered hogies at the same time. At 5:45 we left. still waiting for our sandwiches. Absolutely ridiculous. We did pay for the cheese bread and lemonade, gave the bar tender money and she walked in the back and never came back. All around bad service. Lots of unhappy customers.

Beer is cold food is great. People are incredibly friendly both the waitstaff and the patrons. love it here, I end going at least four times a week!!

The server pointed out the lunch specials on the bottom of the menu, which I had completely overlooked. I ended up choosing a lunch special!

Always a great time at Carbone's! The log cabin interior makes you feel right at home. That on top of freshly made pizzas and fantastic service always makes for a fun night! I recommend getting the broasted Chicken.

my wife and I have been making this resturant our go to for decades. I don't know what changed, but a simple sausage and pepperoni pizza costed us 25 dollars, was undercooked, no flavor, and hardly any sausage or pepperoni. If this was the first time that this occurred, we would just say it was an off day for the resturant. Everytime we come back it progressively gets worse to the point we will not come back again. It's sad because we have been bringing family and friends for years and highly recommending this place to everyone. Something has to change for us to ever come back again. We are trying, but I don't think Carbones is.

Love the food here and go often. But had delivery and delivery person was a greasy, long haired person with an attitude!! Asked for payment when order had already been paid. Wouldn't leave pizza without a tip, but I was told that the delivery fee of $4 would go to driver. But he argued with me and would not leave my order until I gave him a tip. I became very upset with him and he said "Well then just don't order from us anymore."!!? Excuse me? Never again, I am threw with this Carbone's pizza!!

Nice inviting atmosphere. Pleasant table server staff. Food was a let down. Ordered their meatball calzone. It was overcooked. Whatever blend of cheese they used it was stringy stretchy and hard to break off or even cut. Very chewy too! Their pastas and pizza are good however. The roasted chicken smelled good as it passed. At 5pm there was little to no shade under the umbrella tables outside.

We ordered two hoagies for dinner tonight. What a disappointment. The bun was over toasted, the ham was really sweet, the mayo/ miracle whip had a funky taste and the cheese was minimal.
Service was prompt and the owner was very pleasant alot of meat on our hoagies.
So far the only place we found that is good is the Mahtomedi location.

I'm telling you loud and clear do not eat at the Carbone's on Lexington and Lake drive and Molly the waitress is rude is all get out chicken strips taste like fish because they have old oil do not eat there it is so disgusting we had spaghetti with a piece of hair baked right into the meatball and also we waited and waited waited for our food and the waitress told us she was busy with other tables like we didn't matter we will not be going back there again

Very disappointing experience, I was a customer tonight for dinner and I overheard the table next to me, the young girls chicken strips they ordered tasted like fish and they were mushy, the girls didn’t want to eat them, the waitress came over and was willing to not charge them, which i expected would be the right thing to do considering the oil they fried the chicken in must be old for the chicken to have picked up a fishy taste, but while the waitress was talking the lady at the table with the girls had cut into her meatball and there was a long hair that had gotten cooked into it, the waitress witnessed this and came right out and said she already was not charging them for the chicken so there was nothing she could do about the hair in the meatball, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. The manager was called over and she was not willing to do anything about that either. Well I’m sure she lost those people as future customers again but for sure tonight was my last meal there. That was not right, showed me they don’t value their customers. They don’t deserve any stars, not even one!!!!!
