I'm so glad I found this GEM! Food choices are fantastic, delicious, and wide-ranging. Staff is warm and welcoming!
I had the Spicy Thai Butternut Squash soup with a baguette, and was not expecting the buttery softness of the bread, but oh myyyyy!! AND, I had a Cinnamon roll with HOMEMADE caramel topping!
What a find!!! I wish I had taken photos, but I was in a hurry

I had a almond croissant that was as intensely delicious as any I've had in my 63 years.

All the pastries were day old and they said half off but charged me full price. Customer service was bad as well - they seemed more interested in sweeping floors than helping customers. Don't bother....

this was our first (definitely not last) visit. we ordered to go, i got a breve and my husband got a mocha. and we got several things to try (caramel roll, butter croissant, financier, blueberry scone, cinnamon scone, sprinkle cronut, chocolate chip banana bread).
our drinks were made on the spot and exactly what we ordered.
all of the pastries were fresh and delicious!
we each took tastes of everything. we liked all of the items and both agreed the caramel roll was our favorite.
the owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
the prices are appropriate for the quality of the pastries.
we are definitely going to be back!

An absolute hidden gem in our area!! This family owned business takes incredible pride in the quality ingredients and products they offer. Crafted from scratch with care and a friendly smile every visit. I look forward to coming here and will for years to come, I hope!

In response to a recent negative review-
It sounds like you’re very price-conscious, which is understandable—especially since you chose the day-old items that are already offered at an impressive discount. However, this shop takes great pride in the quality of its products and service, and that quality is worth the price. Your comment about the service charge feels unnecessary, as it helps support the staff and keep a family-owned business running. And it’s worth noting, the 10% surcharge must be a thoughtful change they needed to make and it is clearly posted that this is in lieu of tips.

Sometimes paying a little more means supporting local people who truly care about what they make and sell that incredibly reasonable prices for the unbelievable consistent quality and service. You will get all of this and more at Kingdom Baking in Circle Pines Minnesota. 💗

The cashier said good morning and waited for us to ask her to help us. The cinnamon roll had little cinnamon flavor and the cream cheese frosting was overpowering and not good. The prices were way too high for the quality of the cinnamon roll. The overall place was messy and I do not recommend this place at all. I won’t be back.

Disappointed. The prices for the baked goods seemed overall high, especially given their size. I ended up purchasing day old scones for what I thought was 10 dollars as written on the container, but after looking at my receipt I see I was also charged a 10 percent service charge. A service charge for what? I just paid and picked up the scones off the counter. No, just no. I won’t be back.

This bakery is like a mile from my new home it was our first stop here in Circle Pines when I moved in. I love this place! The food and pastries are delicious, the owner and staff are so friendly and helpful, and the vibe of the café is so cozy and welcoming! I love being able to walk here! Definitely recommend!

I tried all the scones and a cinnamon roll. Everything made from scratch and very tasty! I'll be back with my wife some morning to try the quiche and some coffee.

My kiddos and I were seeking out new local bakeries to try, and Kingdom popped up on our radar! We arrived close to closing time, but were treated to kindness as my 12 year old kept saying "Chocolate chip cookies!" in my ear, the 7 year old reminding me for the last chocolate donut with sprinkles, and my oldest kiddo staring in awe at the drink selections. Both gentlemen were super friendly. The pastries were EXQUISITE. The salted caramel donut is HEAVENLY. The scones melted in our mouths. The berry crisp bar was absolutely delightful! Next time we come for treats, we'll do it earlier in the day, and be able to enjoy some delicious coffee or Chai. Can't wait! :) Thank you!

Was hoping this was a real bakery, but this 'kingdom' sells what looks and tastes like pre made baked goods that are mid at best, and the coffee is better at Kwik Trip. Laughing at the north burbs 5 star reviews from people who have no point of reference, they've never been to a real bakery or coffee shop. For me, it's like telling a child who made their first cookies out of a frozen pack 'yum so tasty, good job'. I just have to laugh and not go back.
