“What a gem of a place! Cook is very lucky to have such an incredible bakery and coffee shop. The staff were very friendly and the place is spotless. We got iced lattes a couple days while staying near Cook and they were excellent! On our last morning we ordered breakfast and pastries. Probably a good thing we did this on the last day otherwise we would have gained 10 lbs on our trip! I’ve never seen such beautiful & huge stuffed croissants! The Carmel Apple pie croissant was seriously one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. We can’t wait to come back & try the lunch options too. Run, don’t walk to the cozy Rose Cottage!”

“The food is excellent!!! We went for the fish and shrimp fry, all you can eat. We left there so full. The best was our waitress April so fun, bubbly and full of energy. Don’t ever get rid of her. We will be back soon!!”

“Bartender was pissed about Shirley and cleaning up feces on a toilet...and her boyfriend not visiting her....I'm not from the area...disappointed that her service sucked and didn't care about a new patron....wasn't how I was when I bartended anywhere. Guess she expects 25 bucks an hour and to hell with tips....I say...10 bucks an hour and earn your wage”

“Get to cabin with motivation to swim, pontoon, fish and to have this pizza. Fresh, cheesy, many choices. Cook is the nicest person. There are also wraps, salads, breakfast burritos and other goodies. The atmosphere is back of Gas station store. Seating is in orange booths for 4 along windows overlooking gas pumps, Ice cream is good too.. We do enjoy it but usually pick up for take out to eat at the lake.”

“Stopped in with some friends on the way back from Gilbert to Baudette, McDonald’s was closed and thank God for that because we wouldn’t have been able to stop in here. Great sandwiches and appreciate the customer service.”
