Love this place. Great staff you have.

I rarely write reviews and it seems by other reviews and lack of response the owner isn’t reading them.
We live about two blocks away, so this is a regular place for us.
Last Friday 10/24/25 we went in for a beer and to order takeout for the fam. We sat at the bar. It took 20 minutes for the bartender to come over and only because another customer said something on our behalf.
The problem is that they are selling Pulltabs from behind the bar above any other service. Pulltabs make big tips so the bartenders are not paying attention to people who want beer or food. It’s disappointing because their food is good.
This is a leadership problem.

Seriously, just paid 1550 for the smallest portion of pasta fettuccine Alfredo your featured dish land like 4 ounces of pasta. I don’t even think I got a lunch size portion. Make sure your kitchen knows what’s going on.

How does your website not have a menu? This is a restaurant, correct?

We called to place an order for pickup today and after the order was placed the girl on the phone said “yup” and hung up abruptly. Got our food and they messed up the order or gave us the wrong order. Called to have it fixed and the guy on the phone was rude and acted like it was inconvenient for them to fix the order. Went back to pick up the correct order and while I was waiting I noticed the staff seemed irritated to be there. Although the guy who helped me at the front desk was very nice. Never experienced service like this here before, maybe an off day, but did not make me want to come back to this location.

Very good food, staff was fairly friendly but we waiting 25 minutes after our quoted time for a pizza and a pasta.

The pizza is fabulous. I wish they provided coupons for the next purchases though. Some locations offer discounts for repeat customers.

Service was great! Food? ..well good, but not great. Little is made from scratch but rather brought un then assembled.
In short, if friends wanted a quick bite and we were close it's fine but if other options available I would most likely go someplace else.

I have dined at carbones CG and ordered delivery from Woodbury several times ! Tonite around 7 we arrived a party of 5 , 3 adults We were greeted and seated and NEVER approached again for 20 mins. ( we saw some friends that were there and began to converse with them which ,helped make the time go by without as much notice of how long it was ) and sad to say they weren’t serviced during that whole time but had their food which was a distraction for them . I wanted to and was ready to leave but because it was late, my daughter insisted we stay and order the kids dinner right away. EVERYTHING SUCKED , THE FOOD , THE SERVICE , the kids got their food (which we had ordered right away and asked the server to put in with a beverage order and we would order after ) . We got our beverages again after an extremely long wait and the order was wrong . And then our food came Before the kids !!! An employee there commented that they were short staffed . I am so disappointed and will be hard pressed to return !!! Word of mouth is very affective advertising and I am here to tell you I will be spreading the word to stay away . Not one time did anyone apologize or make any kind of acknowledgement of the situation .if you are short staffed , QUIT SEATING OR CONSIDER CUTTING BACK YOUR DAYS/ HOURS …..

I really enjoy Carbone's. Food is great. I have ordered the food to go before and the sides of marinara expensive and smaller than you would guess, overall its a great choice for a local pizza shop.

This is by far the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Every single time I order - it is consistently delicious. Kudos to the team! They are always busy yet always accommodating and kind. Do yourself a favor and go to THIS Carbones over all others in the twin cities.

Such a fun place, friendly people, and amazing food. I can’t begin to explain how fun of a time we had there!! Jonah was our waiter and he was funny, kind, and friendly!!
