Caribou Coffee

CJ, Brenda, and Crystal gave the absolute best customer service today. I tried a new drink and it wasn't for me. They were kind enough to not charge me for a new drink, and also remade the new drink after I forgot to mention a modification.
People like this are why I keep going back to Caribou. (Their drinks are also great!)

Your location at cottage Grove is absolutely filthy. You're out of toilet paper in the restrooms. The mirrors in the bathroom look like they were cleaned by a two year old who just finished a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I'm not sure your facility would pass a health inspection. Very concerned will not return.

Slow service, not very friendly; zero smiles. Would not recognize my size upgrade in my Caribou app, even though it is right there visible and redeemed with my points. I've noticed sometimes barisyas have trouble 'finding' my in-app rewards.
Bathroom was dirty and out of TP.
Not happy at this Caribou. :/

Wonderful place and ppl

Was greeted with friendly staff, the store was very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Didnt take very long for the barista to make our drinks and were reasonable temperature. Merry christmas and happy new years 🎄🎁🎉🙏✝️❤️

I have in the past liked going to this caribou- but now I will drive 20 minutes to go to any other place rather than here.

There is a manager who works the mornings when I come in that I do not recognize from previous months-years. She is rude and abrasive.

I have taken my dog into this caribou and literally all the surrounding ones for years. Literally, at times, almost daily - and every time, the staff was excited and greeted him with a pup cup. The most recent time was apparently the "last" as she said only service dogs were allowed. I said that was interesting and explained my usual experience for again hundreds of other times. I also told her it's odd because usually corporate owned places will have signs that clearly state that, and it was strange they didn't. Again, especially contradicting my usual experience at this very Caribou. I have not brought my dog back since, because I do get if policies change.

However, each time she has been rude, doesn't give greetings, doesn't say you're welcome when I say thank you. And somehow, she is also the only person to consistently mess up my drink order - which is highly suspicious.

There was also an instance where the power had been out at some point either the night or morning of (due to storm) and when I showed up at approx 10:30am the door was locked, but people were inside. A customer let me in because the store manager (same woman as before) and other person would not acknowledge me. Other people had the same issue, and each time, they would mention it to the staff, and they would respond "well we aren't open yet." If you have guests in the store, you are open for business. You should not blatantly ignore the front door and leave it locked and just let customers deal with it. She was rude and dismissive.

Just shows one bad apple can ruin the bunch. I hate that my favorite local place has been ruined by a bad attitude.

(I believe her name is Sarah) is the absolute sweetest possible. Shes always smiling and wishing customers a great day. I recently hobbled in with crutches and she stopped what she was doing to RUN to hold the door for me. Heart melting kind soul she is. A++++++++

Awesome staff and store! Today I used my birthday reward for my free drink. The barista at the register wished me Happy Birthday, and the barista that made my drink wrote Happy Birthday on my drink. These little kind gestures made this a great visit. We always love this location. Keep up the great customer service! Thank you!
