Skimpiest dq location ever. Barely give you any toppings.
paxton drop my blizzard
Friendly ,clean,and good!
Great service always friendly
I really love our Cottage Grove dairy queen but man the lack of ingredients are very disappointing. I've gone to the Hastings location and the South St Paul location they both have adequate ingredients. I've asked for better effort on their end and just get charged for extras. I hope they correct this and I hope I can come back and give an updated review.
Fast drive thru. A good DQ has almost everything the other DQs have..
I came to the cottage Grove location for my usual order Reese’s blizzard xtra xtra Reese’s, I don’t know if they were rushing or were just being lazy but I had to go back 2 times because they just couldn’t get it right and the 3rd time the lady in charge was short tempered with me and yelling because she sweared that it was the “right amount” but I told her I’d have no problem paying for extra and to shove the spoon through it herself and tell me if it was xtra xtra or not she stormed off with the blizzard put all of her anger into it proceeded to give it back to me and I just ended up throwing it out because after 2 bites I could feel the negativity coming from it. Anyways the Woodbury location has never failed me I highly suggest you bring your business there instead because the rotten attitude girlies at the cottage Grove location need to take a serious chill pill and not tell the customer that their wrong because as we all know the customer is always right! Even if the customer ISNT always right that is the sacrifice you make working in the food service industry which I have had plenty of experience in and the way the girls at the cottage Grove location acted was so inappropriate
I loved it great service great seating and I love the ice cream!
Great blizzard, ice cream temp was perfect
🌟 Review 🌟
The Dairy Queen in Cottage Grove serves the best marshmallow malt in all the land! Creamy, rich, and perfectly blended with that nostalgic marshmallow swirl — it’s a masterpiece in a cup. No other DQ comes close. If you’re a malt lover, this place is your holy grail. 🥤🔥

It took 55 minutes to get to the drive thru window and my hot fudge sundae that I asked for with a brownie had very very little hot fudge and they gave me 3 little brownie bites for a brownie. When I said something to the cashier she said have a nice day and waived her hand bye bye
That experience make it hard to return to any DQ that was my favorite indulgence
Yummy!
When you buy an ice cream cone and the cone is more than the ice cream I didn’t pay for a cone this is the second time I don’t know if I’ll go back and I love Dairy Queen
I'm not sure what happened tonight because usually they're all very nice over there, but the service just sucked tonight. My mom an I both placed mobile orders at around the same time while my dad and I were out shopping. My mom sent me a screenshot of the confirmation with an ETA. When we go to the drive thru, they were decently busy, but not the busiest I've ever seen them when they've turned off mobile ordering. When we got to our turn at the window, they said they only had 1 of our mobile orders and couldn't find my mom's in their system. They ushered us out of line (which makes sense as they were getting busier). We parked over by the motel and let my mom know what happened. She sent over more screenshot proving the order went through and took the payment. I went up to the window while my dad stayed by our truck and the cashier did not seem happy that I was back. They tried to find the order, but couldn't and then the manager came up. She was also confused as their system didn't say there was an order (yet my mom has confirmation, it's the correct store, and the money pulled from their account?). She ended up calling the owner to see what he could do. She was on the phone for a bit and then when she finally got off the phone, she said the owner couldn't find the order. During this time, my mom sent over a screenshot that said her order was canceled (how could a nonexistent order be canceled). I tried to tell her that i would just reorder at the window, but she wouldnt have that. She seemed to really want to make sure we knew what happened. She said that she was going to go grab her phone and when she came back, lo and behold the owner did find the order and sent over a blurry picture of it (I didn't think it existed in the system, so how could the owner find the order if it didn't exist). Apparently, something in that picture meant that the funds didn't go through. Only after she showed us that picture did she say we could either go through the app or make the order again at the window. We were cold and tired and just wanted to go home, so we just ordered and paid for it again, but it felt like the manager was hell-bent on proving us wrong for whatever reason. I don't know if their system turned off mobile ordering at the same time hers was going through or if it was manually turned off, but I feel like this handled poorly.
Parking: Love my little DQ, been going here as long as I can remember. It’s just a treat place so the only food items (besides ice cream) is the chili dogs and pretzels with cheese. The lot is small and when it’s hot outside, it gets super busy. When it’s busy you can’t even get in the lot to park bc of the drive through line that occasionally backs up beyond the driveway/lot. It’s easier to park in the lot next door and walk up to the window to order.
