TLDR: worker went from making sandwiches to cashier and back to sandwiches without switching gloves (as required by the Department of Health) and ignored me/refused to switch gloves when I raised my concern
Came in to pick up an order rather than waiting on an Uber eats driver to come from Inver grove (no biggie, it’s new years.)
When I talked to the cashier (short black chick) about getting a refund for the delivery fee because I picked it up, she was cool and gave me my refund.
However, she kept her gloves on and went right back to making food without switching gloves. I tried to raise my concern with her and was straight up ignored even after I said “okay I guess we’re just ignoring me”
I asked if the older guy was the manager and he said they didn’t have a manager today because it’s new years. I raised my concern with him, and his response went from him also ignoring me to “we’re busy,” and to “email if I had a concern” (after I asked where the manager was).
I have cancer and am immunocompromised. I don’t care how busy you are, it takes 10 seconds to switch your gloves. I don’t care if you claim to have “just wiped everything down.” Food safety is a simple concept, and the department of health is clear that you need to change gloves when switching tasks.
The fact that multiple workers tried to just ignore me and hope I’d leave (and STILL not switching gloves!) is ridiculous and short staffing due to a holiday is no excuse.

Amazing Sandwiches and Fast Service!
I recently visited Jimmy John’s in cottage grove and let's just say I was thoroughly impressed. The sandwiches were incredibly fresh and delicious, with fresh ingredients that made every last bite enjoyable. There was this pleasant young man named Jake who helped me decide what to order with a large smile. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, creating a rather pleasant dining atmosphere. Whether you’re in a rush or just craving a tasty sandwich, Jimmy John’s is the place to go. Highly recommend!!!

Was waiting to get 2 sandwiches, employees were just working on the online orders. We waited 20 minutes just for 2 sandwiches by the counter minding our own business knowing that me and my mother only had a half hour lunch break from work. The lady finally gave us are 2 sandwiches that weren’t even the right sandwiches and then stated/directed towards me and my mother “don’t piss me off”. Like is that really how customers should get treated for not doing anything towards you and because you’re over your head in your own work, personally I don’t think so! I will for sure not be coming back here due to employees and customer service!
We got two sandwiches 1) #16 Turkey with Bacon unwhich 2) #9 with extra Jimmy peppers.
The food was good. We also got chips and a soda.
My lettuce wrap was made well as it did not rip once I picked it up.
My hubby's sandwich was so so good. Oh how I wish I could eat bread ?
Parking: This location is located in a large parking lot that is usually not very full and is free.

The nice young man Jacob had a large smile and handed me my cookie with clear passion for his work. Sam Paulsen had a cool hat on, I miss kickin ranch. Soukennie threatened to hit me with a latex glove after I insulted her , it made me very upset. This generation needs to learn how to take a joke.

I'll definitely think twice before heading to this or maybe any Jimmy John's again. I can't eat bread, so I always order an Unwhich. Today it was made with lettuce that should have been thrown out not served to anyone. I highly doubt the person making the sandwiches would eat a sandwich wrapped in the old brown spotted lettuce they used to make my sandwich.
