Happy Joe's Pizza & Ice Cream - Crookston

It wasn't the best pizza on the planet but it was pretty good! The lunch buffet was small, but also good. The ice cream is amazing.

Ordered online for takeout. Was fast and easy. The pizza was really good. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

Pizza is not what it used to be!!! Crust was extremely hard to cut or chew through. We had 3 different choices and all were the same! Flavor is definitely not as great either. Cinnasticks were overcooked and depressing also! So sad! They had the best pizza for over 20 years prior.

The gluten free pizza was quite tasty. I believe it was a cauliflower crust but it had good body to it. I didn’t experience any reaction to it even though clearly at a pizza joint there’s a high probability of cross contamination.

Been going to Happy Joes 🍕 Pizza for 40 years and this was by far the worst tasting Taco and BLT pizza I have ever had. BLT had way to much mayonnaise on and the Taco tasted like too many refried beans. I live in Fargo and came up for the dine Inn experience. Next time I’ll go to Grand Forks Way better pizza.

The combo plus pizza I ordered wasn't that great of tasting, it was ok, but I won't order again. The pizza itself was very pricy too, even for a small. The pizza sticks I got today were over cooked, I unfortunately just need to throw them away as I won't eat them ...

Heard about the new meltz on the radio. Ordered the pepperoni melt for take out. It was very good and more than filled me up. I'm definitely going to try the other ones!!

We got takeout from here twice. Pizza was overcooked and hard. Burgers were okay, fries were undercooked and soggy. Pasta was burnt on the edges and cold in the middle. It barely had chicken in it. The garlic bread is the La Croix of garlic bread. You can taste the can the veggies were in. It’s not great. Maybe for a burger.

Edit: we called per the owner’s response, and they told us “we don’t do anything with reviews.” So idk why they told us to call lol

The pizza and Terryaki wings were delicious untill they got cold. We won't be back if you continue to keep your dining room thermostat at 64 degrees! Pizza was cold within minutes and ridiculous to freeze out your customers.. Turn the heat Up!!
