Owner doesn't pay their employees. Also is abusive to their staff, throwing pans of food at them and verbal abuse. My wife was owed several hundreds of dollars and still no paycheck.!Update: 1 of the owners likes to call and text: Threatening messages to there phone. We have given all messages to the police. Next we are processing charges and filing retaining order against him..They are moving there restaurants businesses to pequot lakes...Do you want to buy anything from them! Beware!!@@just wanting everyone who they are!

Brisket was the best I've ever had! We had the buffet with brisket. Sad to hear that they closed the lobby down to the public shortly after our visit.

Wish I could skip the star spot because I didn't eat here so I can't really give stars.Ordered online, went to pick up and discovered they aren't actually open? Luckily I didn't pay online. Asked when they would be open and they hadn't a clue. Wonder why they didn't turn off online ordering...

My girlfriend brought me here on my birthday. I had never to JR's previously. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff super friendly. It is amazing to have a different food option in brainerd beyond the hundred pizza and sub joints.. The pricing was very fair and they offered me cheesecake on the house for my birthday. I plan on trying the prime rib this Saturday..
Stopped by because BBQ sounded good. Got a great deal on prime rib and pulled pork sandwich. loved it so much we brought our parents back the next day for the buffet. would highly recommend!
I did not expect their Tuesday night buffet. Which is probably the reason for 4 stars on the food quality. It was excellent, im really excited to go back and try their actual menu. The price was great, the employees were great, and the business was clean. They're a local business to the area and I had an overall wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back.
Kid-friendliness: Open concept seating with coloring books, and a TV to entertain the kids
Holy smokes, food was absolute garbage, probably the worst smoked food I’ve ever had, didn’t think you could mess up something that’s smoked but here at NO.19 they can manage to do that. Sadly I can only leave one star, but if their was an option for zero that’s what I would pick the sides are out of a can and their meats are strait out the trash can. Just go out of buisness before more people get disappointed from you.

Locally owned and amazing all the meat is smoked to perfection. The BBQ buffet can't be beat from smoked brisket to Mac and cheese/ pizza theirs something for everyone. It's only on Friday and Saturdays but we'll worth the stop if your in town.
