We had a delicious meal - a salad with apples, chicken, bacon etc. Chicken was nicely cooked. Salad was beautifully plated and the ingredients were very well balanced. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries from the specials menus, which he said was also great. We "shared" a coffee creme brulee for dessert which was amazing.

I've been there twice now. The food is outstanding. Service was amazing with 2 different waitresses. It's more on the expensive side. However, it's obvious they use quality ingredients and employ talented people... Which justifies the price. My favorite restaurant in MN. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: I have a 2 year old. Employees were very thoughtful and helpful. As well as very pleasant and friendly to my daughter and family.

This is a difficult review. If I were rating only the quality of food, I would give it 5 stars. The food is fairly good here. However, the menu is fairly restricted and limited, so for those who are vegan or vegetarian this might not be your place beyond a simple salad. The food is fairly consistent, and is fresh utilizing better ingredients. The service however, leaves much to be desired. I've been here twice, and each time service from start to finish was in excess of two hours from the time we sat down to the time we left, even though neither time was busy. The first visit, there were three tables. The second, only 4. Your drinks are often empty, and you'll wait in excess of 10 or more minutes to get a refill or even a water refill. The issue here is not the other waitresses or staff. It is not the kitchen. It is consistently the same female waitress who is forgetful, and extremely slow. She forgets what you asked for. She forgets your drinks. She forgets she took your card and have been sitting for 15 or more minutes while she wipes tables and talks it up with another staff member. Then she admits she forgets. At no time, did she bus the table at all. All app plates and salad plates continued to stack up in large piles, including empty wine glasses and drinking glasses when she kept bringing new ones. At one point, I piled everything up for her and asked her to collect it. She said yes but then didn't for about another 7 minutes as I counted the time. When your food arrives, you'll be missing condiments and various things you asked for, like a fork. Your food will sit in front of you for a solid 10-15 minutes before she walks past you for the third or fourth time and you remind her again that you're still waiting to which she admits she forgot. The first time I came, it was unquestionably the worst service I'd ever received in all of Minnesota. I decided to come back 6 months later to give it one last try. I presumed she wouldn't be there anymore considering the last time I went, she admitted she was new and I presumed she wouldn't last. I was equally shocked and horrified to be seated the second time, and out she comes to greet us. The service will always begin great with her friendly smile. But as time goes on, it just gets worse and worse. Everything we ordered, from apps to actual meals, was ran by someone else as she stood talking it up at the bar with the bartender. Twice, our drinks were brought by someone else after we asked for someone to bring them to us. Our food sat in the window for some time, until someone else brought it out. So the problem is not the kitchen. It's not the menu. It's not the food or the quality of the food. The issue is her and her alone. If we do return we will ensure that we aren't seated with her although that is a bit awkward and uncomfortable as a patron. Service is 2 stars. But I decided to be more generous because I appreciate the efforts they're making with their menu and the quality of the food.

Very good food! Went on one of the first Sunday evenings they were opened, they had a large Christmas party in the front so things took a little longer.to get but our waitress kept up updated and checked in for refills and table touched
