Understaffed and overrated. One guy runs the show while the others watch, literally watch and wait. The coffee was ok. The inside was every indie hipster coffee shop from the early 2000s puked onto the walls. Very disappointed, not worth the drive.

Been to Amity Coffee a few times now. Music is kind of loud but it is at least less common music played off their album collection. My biggest complaint is that I ordered a latte extra hot, and the barista even made a point to mark extra hot on the cup, but when I got it it was lukewarm; so I paid $6 plus a tip for a lukewarm cup of bean juice with milk only to leave 5 minutes later which is all lit took to drink a lukewarm latte; it at least taught me that I am done leaving a tip in advance which seems to be the expected norm these days. I live near Amity Coffee so I was hoping it would be more convenient than Dunn Bros which I love but that is a couple more miles away. But I will drive the extra distance to Dunn Bros because an extra hot latte there lasts me 30-40 minutes because it is actually extra hot and you get more latte for your money compared to Amity Coffee.

continues to be my very favorite coffee shop in Duluth. Staff is friendly and helpful, coffee is great, and their baked goods are incredible.

A sweet little hole-in-the-wall place that offers a nice list of delicious drinks. Service was friendly and accommodating of my needs, and I loved browsing the beautiful art while I waited. I like that they have the On the Record Music and Arts Magazine, too; any place that supports Duluth's underground local art scene gets my full support in return.

Really nice coffee shop! The staff was friendly, the pastries were tasty, and my drink was great. I really liked the ambiance as well --- it felt very cozy --- and I liked the art they had for sale on the walls. It was also cool that they had a bulletin board for local events. Great place to check out.

If you follow me, you know that I go to a locally owned coffee shop anytime I travel. I have been to coffee shops all across the US and this one in East Duluth ranks up there with the best. I got a dirty chi and it was fantastic. The place itself is small but unique and respects all who come.
