We took a tour with Joe (who is rarely seen in long pants) and thoroughly enjoyed his tale of the creation of Bent Paddle Brewery. 50% woman-owned and drawing from the cold water of Lake Superior, this brewery is a gem in Duluth .

Stopped by yesterday, had a flight and pint, enjoyed a couple of beers and wanted to purchase a crowler to go. The employee let us know that if you buy 3, you’ll get $5 off, so we did. They bring them out and the canned on date was a week prior. Drank them today and all were stale. The beer on site was very enjoyable, my boyfriend gave one a 5 star review, but crowlers should not sit or be sold a week later. Wasted money, dumped the beer down the sink.

An excellent place to grab a beer. They have a wide selection and they really care about their building, the taproom, and their work. If you're in town, make the stop.

It's Bent Paddle, what's more to say? They are a MUST see if you consider yourself a fan of all things beer and you should see it anyway even if you aren't.The brewery offers tours and you can commonly see the interior of the brewery from the taproom anyway. The beer itself is amazingly well crafted and is the reason I got into craft beer in the first place. The outdoor space is top notch and parking is easy to find it you're willing to walk a block or two.

Got a growler of the coffee ale. Had the double shot double black while we were here. Both are very good.

A must stop brewery when in Duluth! Their beer is really great (shout-out to the cold press black coffee ale) and they also sell THC seltzers and gummies. In Dec 2023 they had the Kokua Session IPA where proceeds go to the victims of the Lahaina wildfires (and it's good!). They also have a lovely patio (dog friendly), often have food trucks parked outside and have frequent events. Can't wait to go back next time we're up north!

I stopped for a beer , the beer is ok, nothing to get excited about, the ambiance was ok, nice on a cold day with the fireplace! The music was not loud, but, rap is not my thing and it got to be to much, moving on ! The service was slow, and the place was not busy! No TV's, not a place for sports fans!

Great beer, beautiful tap room, and great people!

One of the coziest breweries we have ever been to! I love the decor, and the giant fire! A great mix of beers and seltzers! We will be back!

Have always loved the beer here, so I was happy to finally be able to visit. My GF and I visited on a Saturday night, before heading out to dinner. The parking lot is big, but can be hard to find parking. Either way, this has a lot better handle than most of the other breweries in town. The service is fast and quick. There were 2 downsides unfortunately. There was not proper kitchen, but there was a catering company there. I guess it allows them to focus just on the beer. They also do not sell 4/6/12 packs of their own beer unfortunately.Other than that though, it was a great time!

Loved this place! Great beers on tap, nice place to look out on the lake. Friendly service and wonderful people. The only downfall is they don’t serve food. You have to use the food trucks nearby and if they are no good, well then you go elsewhere.

Bent paddle Brewing is a fantastic brewery in Duluth. Great chill vibes inside with a big bar, fireplace, couches, tables, a stage, games, and outdoor space. For beer on my stop they had a Pilsner, IPA, amber, porter, coffee ale, light lager, hazy IPA, Pale ale, Session Pale ale, Wit beer, sour, orange IPA, Session IPA, Saison, Helles, Imperial Stout, Barrel Aged Stout, and the have THC/CBD as well as non-alcoholic options. I liked everything I tried and I imagine I will stop again when I am in town.
