I loved every beer I tried!

Too many good things to list to be honest, but I’ll try and get them all.

A. Stellar service from genuinely good people. The entire staff is amazing.
B. The selection of brews and THC tonics is wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend the Golden Apple!
C. Nowhere better to throw axes! You can rent a lane or join a league and compete with (or against… 👀) friends.
D. HUGE BACKROOM for parties that I only just found out about when they threw a Halloween bash and had two DJs going (one in each room) with different vibes. They have amazing local talent constantly, and it’s a great space for music.
E. Not feeling the dancing or axe throwing vibe? Perfect, they have plenty of tables to sit and eat at!
F. THEY HAVE FOOD! The pretzel is so delicious 🤤

I could probably come up with the rest of the alphabet’s worth of compliments but these are the most important.

Meh. Decided to finally give this Duluth brewery a try since our favorite option had a ticketed music show we didn’t want to go to.
Atmosphere is lacking that cozy brewery feel, was super bright inside at 8 pm on a Saturday night, some mood lighting would have helped instead it felt like we were at a very poorly attended wedding reception.
Beer was bland.
Staff was friendly…that’s the only plus for this place.
Will not return.

Nice brewery with a wide variety of beers and an axe throwing room.

We wandered into Blacklist on July 26, 15 minutes before closing, dreaming of one last refreshing pint to cap off our evening. Nothing fancy. Just one beer. You’d think we asked the bartender to brew it from scratch using hops he had to forage from the forest.

Instead, we were met with an eye roll and a firm (and weirdly proud) declaration that he “wasn’t serving beer because they were closing soon.” Ah yes — the old “we’re open, but not that open” policy. It’s like a restaurant locking the door but leaving the lights on just to taunt you.

Look, we’re not monsters. We didn’t expect a tasting flight, a guided tour, or a dramatic reading of the brewing process. Just a quick beer and maybe 10 minutes of civilized existence. Instead, we got shooed off like raccoons digging through trash cans after dark.

If you enjoy being made to feel like an inconvenience for supporting a local business, this place might be right up your alley. As for us, we’ll grab our “too-late-for-a-beer” vibes elsewhere. Preferably somewhere that closes when it closes — not when the bartender emotionally checks out.

Worth the stop. Especially if you enjoy an attractive man with tattoos who pours your beer and looks you in the eye…but the beer also tastes delicious… lol

Great local spot for some micro brews. The online scheduling for axe throwing is very easy and very fun. The coaches are very nice and always willing to help. Great date night or group night activity.

We have gone here for axe throwing twice now. Had a great time. Helpful and engaging staff. They like to have fun. Enjoyed the beer while we were there. A wide selection for all tastes.

Love, love, love. Great variety of fresh brews and seltzers too. Loved the aesthetic. They offer a throwing, which we did not do, but looks fun. The beer is 5 *
