The pearl waffles were fine but too sweet. I was in the mood for a Belgian waffle but they didn't offer that alone for breakfast. For that kind of waffle, if that is what you want you will be satisfied with your order, a friend of mine had it too and liked it. We also had the veggy omelet, which had too many tomatoes so it was watery, and the fiesta avocado toast was very good. I also had a banana blueberry milkshake shake which was excellent, but I asked for fresh fruit on my waffle and the only "fresh" fruit they had was strawberries and bananas, while the blueberries were a syrup. The strawberries were good, but the bananas were a little too brown, which explains why the milkshake was so good. I also had ham and eggs on the side which were average, the ham had a little too much fat on it. Service was very cheerful and fast. Surprisingly cheap.

When the kids suggested Bridgemans for breakfast, I thought they were kidding, but everything we ordered was delicious. There wasn't a wait at all, the wait staff were excellent and the variety of food was great. From waffles to fiesta avacado toast to vegi omelet (and a blueberry banana shake) all were great. Thank you.

First time at this restaurant and fell in love! Being it was Christmas Eve, it was busy and the staff were wonderful - super attentive, patient and super kind. Ordered pearl waffles, chicken & waffles and pesto breakfast sandwich. Our server kept the coffee flowin and speedy service. Thank you so much Bridgemans! ☕️🍳🥞🎄✨

Been going here with my family since I was a kid. Always good food and atmosphere.
The name Bridgeman's just seemed so dated. I assumed it was a place for a "more mature" population who spent a great deal of time there having coffee and splitting sandwiches. Little did I know. This is probably one of the best kept secrets in Duluth. The decor is simple, yet very clean and organized. Our interactions with about eight staff members over three visits was so refreshing. These people are so genuine. You can tell they like and appreciate their role in the success of this business. Today, our server gushed about the "pickle lady".
So many items on the menue are made onsite. The food is homemade, but just a little better! My suggestion to anyone that might listen is that if fancy decor and food that is "ok" is your thing, don't go here. If you are craving some no nonsense good food with a staff that is invested in what they do, this is the place for you (and your friends)!
PS. Bridgeman's is the place for "more mature" diners as well as families, friends, college students, and anyone who can appreciate a great team, exceptional leadership, and real food.

My dad and just stopped in for lunch after about a year. We have been more than a dozen times in the past and never had a problem ! This time was different, I had the brisket sandwich, it tasted like they poured the whole bottle of liquid smoke on it. My dad had a cheeseburger that was still raw inside, we each had a malt that honestly didn’t taste like anything ! We each left more then half the food on the table and i thought maybe the server would ask us about why we didn’t want a box but he didn’t care and just handed the bill right over ! Spent $54 when it wasn’t even worth $15 ! Wouldn’t even give that to my dog ! Won’t be back any time soon until it goes back to its old ways !
