Horrendous. Egg Rolls were obviously fried in very old grease. I ordered Chicken Almond Ding. They used dark meat and the almonds were rancid. I couldn't eat it. We won't be back.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced Asian meal made with fresh vegetables with friendly fast service, well here it is. I had the chicken lo mein, which was good and not over salted like most Asian food can be. Egg rolls were handmade. Very good. Nice and quiet atmosphere I that is what you are looking for also.

We stopped by after a visit to Bentleyville Tour of Lights. The food was amazing, the owners are wonderfully nice people, they are great, service was awesome, and atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Might become a new holiday destination when we drive up to Duluth!Parking: Downtown area street parking.Kid-friendliness: Owners are super nice to children. My daughter loved the place and was super happy we went there.

This is an amazing place. It could not be more atmospheric if it tried. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic, but the best part was how warm and comfortable it is. The interior is traditional and inviting, the service is excellent and they offer tea with your meal. it feels like you've been invited over to a friend's house for dinner. It's fantastic.

At first impression, I was a little apprehensive about entering the Cantonese House. There was one solo diner, no staff to be seen, reruns of an old 70s show on the TV, with very dim lighting, and the decor was in serious need of a revamp. I stood in the entry, wondering if I should seat myself or stand there and wait. I waited...and waited...eventually a waitress came out from the back, asking what i wanted to order before i had a chance to look at the menu, she gave me a moment while she went to get my drink order. The Coke she brought was in a can. There is nothing better than ice cold Coke...in a can! She took my order, had me pay my bill, then disappeared into the back. She quickly returned with an egg roll with some sort of liquid in a paper cup. I am not a fan of most egg rolls, and this was no exception. The Chicken Wings with Oyster Sauce were next to be brought out, and they looked amazing. They tasted even better! I commented that they were the best I'd ever had, and the waitresses' demeanor instantly changed. She was friendly and spent more time in the dining area, checking every so often to see if i needed anything. I ordered the Two Patties Egg Foo Yung, Sweet & Sour Chicken with white rice combination. After having those chicken wings, I was a bit disappointed by the entree. I have mixed opinions about the Cantonese House. I'll forever crave those chicken wings with Oyster sauce, the ambiance leaves something to be desired, the lady who waited on my table was fantastic, she completely changed my first impression of the Cantonese House, and I'd go back again! Ice cold Coke in a can, the best crispy Chicken Wings with Oyster Sauce that I've ever had, and a toothpick...yup, I'd go back again.Parking: There is a paid parking ramp a block away, paid street parking if you're able to find a spot. Depending on the time of day and due to construction outside of the restaurant paid spaces can be limited.Wheelchair accessibility: This establishment has a wheelchair accessible entrance and tables.

Both the wonton soup broth and pork fried rice dish were so salty that it was inedible! Veggies were lacking in both items, too. Disappointed to say the least...

Definitely a family owned business, which was nice to see around here. They seem understaffed, so if you call the takeout number and they don't answer thats probably why. I got the orange chicken and it was very crispy, could've used a bit more sauce but other than that, delicious. Please support them if you can, and be patient.

Great! You don’t expect to find quality Chinese food in a place like Duluth but this place is great. Friendly, fast service, portions are just right and the food is delicious and healthy.
