One of the best parts of seasonal DQ stands is the sweet, cold, magical smell that emanates from the open windows. BUT this one has a strong chemical cleaner smell, like air fresheners were installed over the food prep and service area. A DQ should smell like ice cream, but this one smells like a public restroom. Gross. Thanks for ruining summer.UPDATE: the response below asked me to contact them via the link provided, but the link just takes you to the website where the only options are "contact us" which just gives you store location info, no email or any other option. It's a cute, quick spot to get delicious blizzards, cones, or anything else dairy-adjacent you could enjoy. The hours are pretty reasonable as the seasons go, even though they're usually closed in the late fall/wintertime. Tended by kind staff too! If you go here in the fall, try the pumpkin pie blizzard without the pie crust (not that this location's pie crust is bad, but you'll enjoy the ice cream more without it)!

I grew up on 6th n 43rd and my dad would walk with me down to this Dairy Queen when I was a child. I'm now 65 and this is still my favorite DQ to go to. It brings back so, so many wonderful memories for me!!!

Fast service ,friendly staff. Beat the heat with a DQ treat. I get and would recommend the Cherry Misty Freeze.
Always super quick and super tasty. Love being able to walk here with my family for a blizzard or other yummy treat. Been coming here for years and don't plan on stopping. Picnic tables to sit and enjoy their treats is a huge plus.

This is our favorite spot to get a sweet treat! Great and friendly staff and usually a fast drive thru line. They do have a picnic table or two to eat your treats outside too.
