One of the lady bartenders with black hair was extremely rude to me. Cause she thought I was vaping but it was someone sitting next to me who was!! Never coming back to this place again rude service. I don’t recommend it

Extremely disappointing experience.
I went to this bar and felt clearly unwelcome as a person of color. The bartender with dark hair parted to the side treated me and my friends very rudely compared to other guests. It genuinely felt discriminatory — we were questioned and ignored while others were served right away. No one should be made to feel uncomfortable or singled out because of their background. I hope the owners take this seriously and train their staff to treat everyone with the same respect.

A man in line, said that he is the son of the owner, accused us of being rude but we were simply chatting while patiently standing in line to get a drink. He proceeded to tell me that he wanted us kicked out without explaining why and that his father owned the establishment and claimed that he himself was the owner. He argued with us and called us “ho*s and b**ches, even after I asked very nicely what we did wrong. I like dubs, but had a very bad experience due to this and feel very disrespected.
Dubh Linn was awesome, we went on Thursday night for the amateur comedy night and the atmosphere was great. Free pool & darts were great options. Our fries were very good, crispy and flavorful.
Bartender was super nice and friendly, everyone in the staff team just loved to be there and was happy to help some new faces.
If I was local I’d be coming here often.

My wife and I have been homeless in Duluth for the past 6 months. This bar and one of it's employees became the first time I have experienced discrimination in Duluth due to our status as homeless. The bartender working last night opened the front door as we stood on a public sidewalk next to the bar. We were not there long, and we weren't disruptive or causing and issues at all nor were we blocking access to customers in any way. The bartender looked at my wife, a friend who is also homeless in a wheel chair, and my wife then proceeded to tell us we could not be standing by his business because we were turning away customers. I couldn't believe he discriminated because he knew we are homeless. Duluth has an enormous problem on their hands with the overwhelming population of homeless. Many of us have done nothing to deserve homelessness, we're also not drug addicts who choose to spend their money on drugs rather than necessities. Personally, I grew up in a wealthier family and have vacationed here since I was born. I have an education and owned my own business that was very successful. I went from the top of society to the bottom in a short period of time which was not my fault unfortunately.
If you have any morals. If you have a heart, and if you believe stereotyping, and discrimination regardless of the situation is wrong do not patronize this business. If I could I would shut them down specifically for this very incident whether I was discriminated or had been a witness.
I hope the owner of Dubh Linn reads this. I may be homeless, but I am not idiot. I also have an education, and I previously owned a business myself. If the owner is reading this before you receive anything from my attorney first, I have every intention to make it publicly known on social media and news publications of this discrimination. I also will be following through with my attorney filing a discrimination lawsuit so I receive monetary compensation for the discrimination by your bar. I am not going to be keeping everything I am awarded in court. It will help other individuals who have become like family. Those of us who are homeless for the most part stick together, we help each other, and none of us deserve to be told to leave a public sidewalk because we look and are homeless.
I hope your bar is boycotted hopefully forcing you to shut down or the city shuts you down for the act committed by an employee of yours. If the owner wishes to settle this atrocity before I hand it to my attorney please comment on this with a way to contact you. If not, as I said above, I have no issue following through with a discrimination lawsuit.

I came in here last night to celebrate my birthday with a couple friends. I left feeling pretty upset of the blatant disregard for customers safety. Maybe 5 minutes after entering building I walked into back room checking out karaoke. All the sudden a kid in a Hawaiin shirt deliberately smashes a beer bottle on the floor maybe 3 feet from me and my legs were pelted with shards of glass. (2 or 3 minor cuts, nothing major). I instantly saw a staff member head back to clean up glass (which is great and it was a very fast response) what made me upset is that I went up to talk to this bartender let him know that i witnessed that bottle being smashed deliberately, the kid seemed pretty belligerent and that i was a little cut up from said bottle being smashed and didnt want to see someone get hurt worse. The kid should have been kicked out. About 30 minutes someone whips another beer bottle that explodes everywhere what do you know. Now I didnt see him throw it this 2nd time but he was right in that area. He proceeded to stumble up to bar having to be propped up by his buddy. And tried to go behind the bar, bartenders Instantly yelled at him to get out from behind bar. HOWEVER same bartender that yelled at him to not come behind bar asks this clearly beyond served kid what he wants to drink. I made my way up to bar to let this server know I had already talked to the other bartender let him know he was pelting people with beer bottle glass she apologized for me getting hit by glass. But no one removed this potentially dangerous guy, continued to serve him when he could barely stand and was smashing beer bottles on floor. As a service worker myself this was not handled appropriately if At all. I dont go come out to thia establishment at all really so I cannot know for sure but im pretty convinced they must over serve people on the regular if they are letting thia type of behavior and level of intoxication be ignored.

This is our favorite place to eat in Duluth! The food is great, the service is great and the comedy shows we have attended have been great! We love to bring visiting friends here!
Free darts and good beer selections
Someone said my burger was juicy!!!
Bartenders are as rude as any people I have encountered.
I am a young college student who has Hispanic looks and I was repeatedly called a terrorist by either a bouncer or employee who persisted we leave due to closing time. I had neither spoke or said anything to the worker and completely ruined my experience at the bar when I used to love it there.
