Their lattes are great. Their baristas are skilled in the art of creating great flavors as well as latte art! They usually have an interesting and delicious milk alternative. Their new café is also quite delightful!
Stopped by Sunday morning to eat. Got seated right away and then got forgotten about. After 20 minutes we had to get waitress attention to get service. I got my coffee shortly after that but it was almost 1/2 hr and my wife still did not even have her coffee. (And we are at a coffee company). A few more minutes went by and noticed others who came in well after us were being served already. Felt bad but we got up and left. We don’t do that but we did.. plus it was not that busy.
A very nice small space though really noisy. Wifi seems to work well. Coffee was totally solid. I really like their cardamom latte and iced coffee. Certainly not able to do a daily trip though. Each one of these drinks would set you back 7 to 8 bucks. But, totally worth the splurge on occasion. Their beans are some of the best in MN...imo.

Very solid espresso!
They have real pour overs, real lattes and compostable servingware (can also get your coffee in a ceramic mug if you don't want it "to-go"). I love their seasonal cardamom orange latte. They also have a "steamer" for the kids (frothed milk) that my daughter loved. Will be back again!
Kid-friendliness: We brought our young kids and they were welcome. They even have a frothed milk "steamer" for them that my daughter loved.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a push button and an automatic door, it all appeared to be on one level. It was kind of a squeeze to the counter which could potentially cause issues if it's really busy. But people are generally kind and will move out of the way.

Great coffee shop in downtown Duluth. Took away a bag of their Oscar and Francisca Chacon, Costa Rican Natural coffee (for v60) and have been enjoying it over last weeks.

Took a long time to get a coffee. The staff was little more concerned with their conversation than the customers. My wife’s coffee tasted more like water than a coffee. A 8 dollar coffee was not worth the cost.

Duluth Coffee Company is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Duluth. Very good coffee and mimosas. I had one of the better cappuccinos I’ve had in a while during our recent visit.
They also have a nice sized breakfast menu and the prices aren’t too bad. The service was a little slow but other than that it was a good experience. Definitely will be stopping back.

I've drank Duluth so many times in coffee shops in Minnesota and Iowa. The actual store was fine overall but the espresso in the Cortado seemed like extraction was off. They also messed up my wife's drink. The baristas were friendly and helpful but didn't meet our expectations overall.
Parking: A little tricky

A nice modern coffee shop with some seating and top notch espressos! The cortado was smooth, rich and strong. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The restroom was clean and easily accessible from the shop. A great stop for coffee!

Service was nonexistent, waited way too long for food and coffee then had to flag someone down for the check

The 2 baristas could not have been more rude. I gave it 2 stars because the coffee was great but one couldn’t be bothered to stop slouching on the counter or when we asked for a flavor they didn’t have was very rude and said we should read the 4 flavors off the menu. The other one thought it was outrageous that I was in the bathroom and wasn’t there to grab my iced coffee off the counter. I will not be returning

Omg shocked….A local employee of Bent Paddle recommended I go here over Uncle Louie’s. The cashier was great, the coffee was meh, the roper was HORRID-I wouldn’t even SERVE a sandwich that looked like this. Embarrassing. The fried rice bowl was decent but looked like complete garbage. It also wasn’t mentioned they would be putting sausage in it because they were out of bacon. Yuck! The ice cream tasted like it was there since last summer. How this place is rated 4.6 stars is unbelievable. I definitely regret the visit. See you soon Uncle Louie.?
