Love the pop tarts and the caramel rolls! The Macarons are always a little dry and hard but everything else is AMAZING!

I am typing this because I need to hit over 200 characters to get a badge so here is my input/review on DBB's; everything on that menu is amazing. I have always been a skinny lad until I discovered you guys, now I am up 45lb. Gone are the days of being unattractively skinny, hello dad bod. I call it my chocolate croissant diet. Whenever I am out and about and need that extra bump, I know DBB's has the best quality coffee for the best price. Their coffee lids are horrendous and do not work like at all. At lleast for the black coffee I get, but I wont knock the business down because of it, just know that I have had my issues with the lids. And before I know it I am 2 chocolate croissants, 2 ham and cheese croissants, and 2 any kind of Danish's deep all before 9am and I wouldn't change it for a thing.

Duluth Best Bread donated some bread as well as some other pastries to the school I work at. It was all fantastic! Not only are they hands-down, the provider of Duluth’s best bread, what they do for the community as a whole goes above and beyond what would be expected of a small business. If you are not giving this company, your business, you are missing out!

I stopped here on my roadtrip to North House Folk School and on my way home. They have the best bread ever, incredible service and just a fun vibe, standing outside chatting with sweet Minnesotans. I highly recommend the wild rice and cranberry bread❤️

Just want to give a huge shout out to Stacy, he was so helpful when we visited! We’re big fans of breakfast food, and had to make a reservation for a tour by 1:00, and our planned stop for breakfast was too busy. I had seen online that Duluth’s Best Bread was known for their croissants, a favorite food of mine, so they were a priority stop anyway. I was worried they were sold out, already bummed I didn’t get my most important meal of the day, so I called them to check. I explained I was a hangry New Jersian who just needed a buttery carb, please tell me yall got some of your famous croissants, and he cracked up. He said not to worry, they were stocked. When we showed up, he treated us to some extras, and we got a good laugh.

Now again, as a breakfast snob and specifically a croissant aficionado, I was blown away. How they heck do yall get that much butter in there?? Delicious, flaky, like a hug from the inside. We also grabbed a cinnamon sugar homemade pop tart and that was great too. Had we more time, we probably would have asked for them to be toasted, which I can imagine would only make the 9.9/10 experience a 10/10. But truthfully, Stacy’s kindness and generosity was such a bright spot in a clearly hectic morning, and really kicked off our day in Duluth with joy.

An absolute must go if you’re in Duluth!

I was in Duluth visiting family. I stopped by and got some amazing country white bread that was made largely into bruschetta. The tangy flavor of this bread is amazing. Second stop yielded cheese curd bread and rosemary onion. The cheese curd bread is gorgeous with pesto or garlic. We ate the rosemary just on its own with a little butter. My grandson (2) asked for “more, more good bread.” Bonus: the store smells amazing. Everyone should go here and buy yummy things. The price is commensurate with amazing handmade baked goods.

We ordered two savory pastries on a Saturday morning around 8 am and they were not good. They did not seem fresh at all and we decided to throw them away. We were here 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Not sure if it was different staff or an overall decline.

I bought the Carmel pecan rolls and the almond croissant today. The best ever. The only ones that come close are a bakery in New York. In the old days Connellys bakery in Superior were almost as good.

I came here this morning and ordered a danish and a ham and cheese croissant, both of which were cold. I asked the cashier if he could warm it up and he placed the plastic to go container in the microwave…..it was only for a few seconds but our pastries were not hot AND now they were infused with microplastics.

In addition, our maple latte did NOT have any maple in it, and wasn’t told to us. We only knew because we overheard the two boys working there that they couldn’t find the maple. They did not inform us at all, and still charged us for the specialty latte.

We came to visit from Minneapolis and this was overall a terrible experience. My partner didn’t feel comfortable eating pastries that had been warmed in a plastic container in the MICROWAVE.
