Edit: Still 5 stars all around. The place is cozy and unassuming, but got dang is the food delicious! Staff are friendly, and the portions are generous. The food is hand made, and as such, the salsa, rice, beans, and entrees vary from day to day (kinda like they would at home) but we always leave full and happy.
We stopped to charge our car at the Holiday Inn Duluth and discovered this Mexican restaurant. I had the veggie fajitas and my son had a bean burrito. Great food and a friendly staff.
Not sure why there are negative reviews. I’ve been here almost weekly since it opened and is by far the best Mexican food in Duluth. Burrito Emiliano is my go to and the margs are good and strong. Some of the best chorizo I’ve had. Owner is always working there and seems to be a great guy. Would recommended to anyone in Duluth looking for Mexican food.
