definitely skip the swedish meatballs, they’re grisly and flavorless. We ordered a piece of pecan pie and an apple crisp specifically with no ice cream. we were brought two pieces of pecan pie for ONE of us and ice cream. had to ask twice for the apple crisp and then we were charged for the ice cream we said we didn’t want. Marsha was our server.
Great little restaurant. Nice to have an independent not a chain.
Me and my mom have diner together everyone of my birthdays. Just a little tradition. Same for hers. But this was my 30th so we went out.... Here.To start lets talk about the food cause if it wasnt for the food i wouldnt be making this post. The food- I ordered a cuban sandwhich. Very dry. Didnt even taste mustard. Probobly a handful of jalapeno on it. And the fries tasted like there was something wrong with the seasoning or over cooked. I took about 2 bites and some fries and fed the rest to my dog. OH AND THE CHERRY ON TOP IS I FOUND A HAIR IN MY FRIES!my moms burger had seriously fatty undercooked bacon which also tasted funny.I wouldnt care about that if the service wasnt so odd.to start we had like 3 different waitresses so we didnt know who we were really tipping. And one came up to the table talking with food in her mouth.Im sorry but it todays market if me and my mom order just a burger and a sandwhich with just water to drink for 30 something bux we should have good service.Menu is also very limitedIm sorry gb but you need to up ur game.
Came in by myself to try the food...some super old lady made me wait 15 minutes before seating.. it was 11:15.. they just opened! Only one table. Specials were something you would see @ the old Kmart cafeterias from back in the day executed with no finesse whatsoever..yet have the nerve to call Gary a TopChef, which I know hes never been on the show. His sous chef looks like he lives in the woods
GB Schneiders is the place to dine in west duluth. Comfortable atmosphere for family and business dining. Excellent service. Best food served in west duluth. I go to Schneiders any chance I get for lunch and am never disappointed.
Hidden gem of a place! Great, home-made food and a nice comfortable bar atmosphere.
Very nice bar and restaurant. Low key with a laid back atmosphere. The home fries are excellent. Ask for them extra crispy! Awesome....
This was our first time at GBs, and, unfortunately, our last. We arrived at 12:30pm during a weekday. Yes, the restaurant was busy. A waitress told us to sit wherever we wanted. We then waited 22 minutes before a different waitress came to our booth! She said she didn't see us sitting at the booth. It took another 14 minutes before she came back to take our order. We ordered the Wild Turkey sandwich and Patty Melt. After reading about great reviews of the food, we were very disappointed with our meal. The food was average, and compared no differently to that of a fast-food chain. In spite of the fact that when we first arrived it was busy, wait staff should always be aware of new customers when scanning the room. Having to wait 22 minutes before being "found" in the booth is a bit much. It appeared there were only 2 wait staff on duty, one at the bar area and one in the "back" dining room. Perhaps had there been one additional wait staff, things would have gone a bit better. But, even the food was mediocre at best. We won't be returning and we won't recommend this place to anyone.
great food! meatballs were yummy!

Waitress was extremely friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding!!! Would definitely recommend it to others.
Great food but very disappointed in their happy hour it used to be great went there a lot..
Food is amazing. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff.
I love the place. They have great deals on all week days and weekends and good opinions on kids meals as well as beer specials and the food is really good
This local restaurant was a huge discovery. We were supposed to go to that famous grill in Duluth but we got waitlisted for half an hour. So we decided to check this place out. And now we have a new topper in Duluth! I can’t say more about the food and experience because obviously my 5-star rating here says it all…but I’ll particularly recommend the authentic and flavorful recipes of the owner. I was told that all the flavors they use were carefully cooked by the owner. I’m definitely choosing this place now over that famous grill house.
