We hired How Sweet It Is for our small wedding. Lila met with us for a tasting and allowed us to try many different flavor combinations. The cake was a two tier chocolate raspberry with vanilla whip cream, chocolate ganache and fresh raspberry tier and a chantilly lemon with lemon whip cream and lingonberry jam tier. We had asked Lila to design it with stained glass flower design. We also ordered three different kinds of mini cupcakes- apple, early grey, and carrot cake. Everything was so delicious! The cake is light and the buttercream isn’t sickly sweet, especially with the whip cream layers. There were no leftovers and people kept asking where we got our cake.

Communication was seamless, Lila was so easy to get a hold of by email with any questions or changes during the whole process. Setting up a time and meeting with her for the tasting was so enjoyable and easy. EVERY cake we tried was phenomenal. We decided on the Andes mint Chocolate and champagne. Lila made our wedding cake back in 2020 and it was delicious. Since then we have ordered several cakes from the bakery for special occasions and they have all been so good. Most recently I asked for a cake with a loon and two chicks on it and I was very happy with how it turned out. The loons are made of edible icing!
Lila made the cake and cupcakes for our Christmas inspired wedding. She also made adorable gingerbread cookies. I cannot put into words how amazing our white pumpkin cake tasted! Everything was delicious, and there was not a single cupcake or cookie left by the end of the night!
