The haziest of hazy IPAs and a crisp Kölsch. Didn’t get to try the food or cocktails. Next time!
The Korean Smash Burger is the best Burger in Duluth
My party and I arrived at one minute before close, which was 10 pm on a Friday. All I have to say is who closes at 10pm on a Friday?? I know it's east Duluth but yeah??
The pizza was really yummy!! However, the setup is a little strange. Instead of designated areas for the servers to manage, you start a tab at the beginning and then full service after. This seems like a good idea im theory… but in practice it seemed like it made things more confusing. As there were not as designated of roles, and too many people involved in one area of service. But everyone was super nice, some simple refining of their system could really make this place even better!!!!!!
4/7/25, Thanks for your reply. A couple of comments: “Word to the wise” back at you, supporting Breweries does not only mean purchasing as many items from a Brewery as you can. Supporting Breweries also includes patrons providing a Brewery with constructive criticism without the Brewery getting defensive?? As for you asking why I did not mention your beer? I didn’t want to but I will. I had the Sir Duluth Oatmeal Stout, I give it a 3 star average rating at best. Have a nice day! 3/31/25 This review is based solely on the beer & atmosphere as we did not eat. I am strong supporter of breweries as my wife & I always visit a brewery when traveling. One of the reason we do so is to connect & talk to other people in an environment that is comfortable & accommodating. Unfortunately, that was not the case at Lake Superior Brewery. Why? 1) When first entering, you cannot seat yourself, one must ‘get in line’, very structured 2) NO FREE SAMPLES WHEN DECIDING ON WHAT BEER TO CHOOSE. Definitely not accommodating to those beer enthusiasts that want to support Lake Superior Brewery 3) Feels more like a formal restaurant, not like a real brewery. 7+ other breweries in the Duluth area that do not charge for a sample taste, just say’n.
Best pizza in town! super friendly staff! Brunch is amazing!
Was wonderful. Loved it.
Great attention to detail. Loved the Scallop pasta, perfect portion sizes, and the beer is one of the best. Whenever we visit from Florida it's our first stop.
They are making some great beers now. Food is good, but too pricey.
Wonderful food and atmosphere! The pizza is amazing! The burgers are also very good. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

It's a unique menu. It's not bad food. They do sell local art, which is displayed on the wall to look at. I did end up buying one. The hot rum cider with orange was very good.
Always have a great time at LSB!
Everything is top notch here from the food, to the beer, to the cocktails, and the service. We have been coming here for 3 years and never been disappointed. The atmosphere adds to the whole experience. Feels like a neighborhood restaurant, but the food is so far above that. It is so rare to find a brewery with outstanding food and amazing service. Everyone has a smile on their face.
1-17-25. Took a weekend vacation with friends and stopped by Lake Superior Brewing because my buddy likes Pizza. We all order the same pizza, the Hot Pep Pizza. The sauce has good flavor and the thin crust was crispy. The sauce have a hint of spice to it. I like the thin cut jalapeño. A buddy order some fries which I tasted and for some reason it was really good. Overall good style pizza, great atmosphere and probably good beer too.
This was my first time going there. Our food was outstanding. We had the oysters Rockefeller and they were delicious. Our server was wonderful, too. I will definitely go back. Keep up the great work.
