Came to celebrate our anniversary on a whim, and the entire experience was excellent. We waited for our table but they have nice outdoor fire rings as well as a temperature controlled waiting area. We got an adorable window table which felt like a VIP experience (more private and fully decorated). Our server was bright, fun, and had excellent timing (way to go Mariah) and had some suggestions and information for our first time. We ordered from the smokehouse platter menu, and the portions were as described or better for proteins/sides. We enjoyed the creme brulee for dessert, and loved the special garnishes for the entire evening. We will bring friends next time!

This was my first time visiting Duluth and I wanted to try some of the local eateries. I had a taste for barbecue-and wow! They didn’t disappoint. I was here for a conference and ate here every day. I recommended it to my colleagues and after the first night, they were hooked! A must visit!

Customer care was awesome! Person on the phone was professional, informative, and fast! Ribs were decent- good flavor but also very dry and almost jerky like on some parts :/ . My side of beans were not to my taste. They tasted more like a dip or nacho topping. BBQ sauces were awesome!

$33 for a half rack of ribs is quite expensive. Ordered the haystack brisket sandwich. It came with maybe 2-3 oz of dry brisket and a small side of mac n cheese for $19. My daughter’s pulled pork had a very strong pickle flavor which was very odd. Disappointed.

Nothing about this place felt good. I've never gone into a barbecue establishment and had this kind of a vibe. It just did not feel genuine or authentic... And the food I ordered was horrible! I spent close to $40 on a container of Mac&Chz brisket and when I tell you I got a SUPER small serving of brisket. The most unflavored Mac and cheese I have ever been served from a restaurant. I will not exaggerate when I say water has more flavor. The brisket was NOT good....Not good!. OMG I will not be returning!
Brisket was very over cooked , then chicken and rib's were very good. Coleslaw was good. Did get my Rhubarb pie. For $56 and change, I would say give more food to the customer for that price!

We saw this restaurant on a YouTube channel and wanted to try it out, and we are so glad that we did. Willow, our server, was very informative, helpful, and great at answering all of our questions. The food was amazing. We had the Northern Pride sandwich candied sweet potato bake & the Bourbon brisket cheddar sandwich with roasted bacon and blue cheese potato salad. Very comfortable atmosphere, and the sauces were delishes. I don't like horseradish, but the Alabama White sauce was our favorite.

First time here, super impressed! Sarah K was an awesome server, she tried her best to make our food and experience as great as she could. A miscommunication about sauces with the kitchen, but she fixed it right away. We got the OMC burger, and the hot honey chicken sandwich. AMAZING. My wife said that was undoubtedly the best chicken sandwich she's ever had. We ll definitely be back when we re in Duluth!
