Our favorite place to visit in Duluth! Old jail holding cells converted into a speakeasy and supposedly haunted. Enter through the back alley, head down the stairway underground to walls of stone and dim candle-lit tables. The vibe is awesome and the drinks ridiculously good! Visit close to Halloween and order the Fall Finish.

Service was horrible. Was not spoken to once the whole hour we were there. "Server" male with long hair purposely ignored my table and didn't look or check on us once. Came from out of town and was VERY disappointed with the service here.

When I hear the words Jail and haunted I get intrigued. The atmosphere is very dark , creepy in a cool, artsy way. I really loved it. The bartender made excellent drinks. My only negative would be the echoing. Really loud laughter! (Not ghosts but, loud girls) Music would have helped drown that out.

Nice vibe. Awesome staff. Excellent drinks. Acoustics are a little harsh when someone is being loud at the bar. Some quiet music would have been nice during our visit to balance the room ambiance..

Very nice atmosphere. When we came in, it was very busy on a Friday night, and seating was limited. We had to wave the waiter in. Drinks were good and strong. It's quite noisy when it's packed.

1 star cuz they dont have the option of a ZERO! I have never received as poor of service and respect in my entire life. And that's saying a lot. As I was getting extremely rude comments from the bar tender I noticed another couple storming out in disgrace at the same time. We went in with a group of 8 people and they wouldn't give us the time of day. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else! Do this business a favor and close their doors, they don't want to be open anyway!Ps. This review is a week after my poor service, this is my cooled down version.

Ive updated my review twice. This venue seems to change periodically. In 2018, had a great experience! In 2021, the vibe totally changed and it seemed to have lost its quaint, dark charm. Today, 2023, the speakeasy vibe seems to have returned with some talented 1920s era live music and cool dark seating. It wasn't well staffed (they are friendly and do a great job), so be patient. A diverse crowd, old, young, and in between.
