Much less crowded than the upper chalet

Great location!
Great place to grab food or a cold beverage at the end of hiking/biking. Priced at a great value. Right at the base ofthe ski hill, the main lift was in full operation taking folks/bikes to the top of the hill.

Sorry, we have not eaten at the chalet, but it is so convenient for going skiing at Spirit Mountain. We noticed the other day almost every table was filled & our friend ordered a delicious wrap there. The chalet has many tables in an area away from thd restaurant, and big picture windows to view the ski hill. A woman in a wheel chair was sitting near thd windows & enjoyed watching the skiiers. I believe the lower challenge has better menu items and a nicer dining area to sit in.
Parking: There are handicapped parking spaces, but an uphill climb to the challet on a cement sidewalk. A person in a wheelchair would need some assistance.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, easy to get around with handicapped accessible bathrooms within the challet. Automatic door openers.

Decent. My son said the bugers were worse than fake meat burgers, and the waitress double charged us. Likely caught them on an off day.
Grabbed a bite during our long morning of skiing & it was delicious. Actually have eaten here every day its been open!

PRO: Great food, local drinks & atmosphere. CON: You have to live here to find the place or navigate it's squinty, wonky website (spent 20 minutes trying to find the menu & learn it's hours). You'll end up driving there with your family to realize it's ALWAYS closed, or circle up & down Skyline Pkwy wondering where the place even is (Upper? Lower? Middle?? ... especially for those not familiar with Duluth).-ZERO advertising & un-inviting marketing, it's such a missed opportunity(ies). Revamp the web advertising & The Harvard Facebook. Make a commercial or two. Offer a junkmailbox flyer-coupon to really advertise what would be a hot-spot for a do-all recreation, food, friends & family fun complex kinda day/night. You know, the basics.

Holy overpriced, Batman. Might be fine for a beer with a nice view or a good stop after mountain biking, but the food menu is limited and way overpriced.
We stopped out for beer and food. Loved it! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was spectacular! I'm very much impressed. We will be back.
Ski, skate or just hangout. Great place to be. Food and drinks, both are great. Plus if you like to try out skiing or snowboarding, a rental place is right here.
Nice stop after a few runs on the slopes. Good beer selection and full menu if you are hungry. Good location near the lift.
