Great place to grab food or a cold beverage at the end of hiking/biking. Priced at a great value. Right at the base ofthe ski hill, the main lift was in full operation taking folks/bikes to the top of the hill.

Sorry, we have not eaten at the chalet, but it is so convenient for going skiing at Spirit Mountain. We noticed the other day almost every table was filled & our friend ordered a delicious wrap there. The chalet has many tables in an area away from thd restaurant, and big picture windows to view the ski hill. A woman in a wheel chair was sitting near thd windows & enjoyed watching the skiiers. I believe the lower challenge has better menu items and a nicer dining area to sit in.Parking: There are handicapped parking spaces, but an uphill climb to the challet on a cement sidewalk. A person in a wheelchair would need some assistance.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, easy to get around with handicapped accessible bathrooms within the challet. Automatic door openers.

We stopped here for lunch while skiing at Spirit, and although it wasn't the best meal I've had at the resort it was pretty tasty! FOOD: I order the Caesar wrap with fries - it was pretty good, but a little watery. A tad overpriced at $18, but that is to be expected for the location. We also ordered beers, and they have a good selection on tap as well as reasonably priced mixed drinks which I hope to try next time. ATMOSPHERE: Pretty classic ski chalet vibes, definitely got crowded around lunch time so it was hard to snag a table. Chairs and tables could be in better condition. SERVICE: You place your order at the bar, and they'll bring it out to your table for you. Despite it being crowded, we didn't have to wait long at the bar to place our order. However, it did take quite a while to get our food after ordering.

Decent. My son said the bugers were worse than fake meat burgers, and the waitress double charged us. Likely caught them on an off day.

PRO: Great food, local drinks & atmosphere. CON: You have to live here to find the place or navigate it's squinty, wonky website (spent 20 minutes trying to find the menu & learn it's hours). You'll end up driving there with your family to realize it's ALWAYS closed, or circle up & down Skyline Pkwy wondering where the place even is (Upper? Lower? Middle?? ... especially for those not familiar with Duluth).-ZERO advertising & un-inviting marketing, it's such a missed opportunity(ies). Revamp the web advertising & The Harvard Facebook. Make a commercial or two. Offer a junkmailbox flyer-coupon to really advertise what would be a hot-spot for a do-all recreation, food, friends & family fun complex kinda day/night. You know, the basics.

Holy overpriced, Batman. Might be fine for a beer with a nice view or a good stop after mountain biking, but the food menu is limited and way overpriced.

We stopped out for beer and food. Loved it! The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was spectacular! I'm very much impressed. We will be back.

Ski, skate or just hangout. Great place to be. Food and drinks, both are great. Plus if you like to try out skiing or snowboarding, a rental place is right here.

Nice stop after a few runs on the slopes. Good beer selection and full menu if you are hungry. Good location near the lift.

Good quality food in a warm open building while skiing. Great views of the hill

This could be a gem of a place - but they need to work on a few things. We didn't know this place was even here! Very poor signage on Grand Avenue at the base of Spirit Mtn. And a welcoming open sign should be facing the dark parking lot. The atmosphere needs to be livened up a bit with staff and vibe. How about a couple of TVs turned on and some music? The food was spectacular, however! A little pricey for this part of town, but everything we had was delicious and substantial in portion size. They did have an excellent beer selection and a full bar. I was surprised that they don't open until 12:00 for lunch (11:30 wouldn't that be better?) but, with staffing shortages and all that goes with it these days, I get it. Keep getting the word out - this place needs to be celebrated and turned into a great neighborhood hang out! We will definitely be back!

Long wait but there was a waitress there that was so nice and attentive and gave us table service even though an employee said earlier that if we sat where we did we couldn't get table service
