We had the dinner buffet. We were seated in the room with the buffet where there aren't that many tables to be totally ignored by the waitress. It was very busy. However, we had to go to the front to ask for water or a drink and at the end, to get a receipt to pay. Also, if you are a senior, and we are very senior, they said you have to ask for the senior discount or you don't get it and they don't ask. The food was very good and they did a great job putting out various pizzas. The plain chicken wings were gone and not replenished until we were done eating.

We are from Missouri and while in Duluth we were looking for a delicious local pizza place. Sammies did not disappoint!!! It was absolutely delicious! Fast service, friendly staff and all around exactly what we were looking for!!! 10/10 recommend!!

As soon as you walk in the door you will swear you walked straight into heaven! Your mouth waters as soon as you walk in. You won't find a better tasting pizza unless it's Sammy's out in West Duluth!! The service is great with friendly staff who can answer all your questions.

Really nice people work here and the pizza was surprisingly decent. The dining room needs a really good cleaning and some updates. It is very dated and has decades of dust and grime. It was also very hot in the dining room. My family had just come from a hike and we were very hot and it actually felt more hot. Two of the pop flavors were out on the machine, but they did replace them later.

Sammy’s is the best pizza this side of Chicago. It reminds me of the pizzas I ate growing up on Chicago’s South Side. The staff is great, the service is very good, and the food is excellent.
