I'm actually surprised by some of the reviews. We bought 15 macarons today and they were all perfect! So tasty and baked perfectly. We've tried others from different parts of the country and we agree these were the best we've had. Luckily we live here now so we'll definitely be back for

For Valentine’s Day my wife brought home some goodies from Something Sweet for our family to share. She got an assortment of macaroons and a really neat bumblebee cake that was themed and said that, “We Beelong together!” She was told that it was a red velvet cake which my wife knew was my favorite. So much to our surprise it was a lemon flavored cake when we stated to eat it. Ironically, lemon is still one of my favorites. The next day my wife informed me that the bakery was going to make good on the mix up from the other day. I headed back to the store where they would have a red velvet cake like the one that we were supposed to get. I went into the store today and got a perfectly decorated red velvet cake. This one is even bigger then the other cake l. Krista was so nice and helpful. She was very apologetic and genuinely sorry for the mix up. We have been coming here for a long time to get different treats, but after this kind of service I was blow away by the thought and effort that went into righting a wrong. We will definitely continue to support this business.

Beware, they think nothing of leaving a costumer high and dry during their tedious ordering process. Or at least be aware that you have to watch very carefully in the days leading up to your order or they will just not make your cake. Awesome and thanks Maddie Lu.

Don’t go to this bakery!Minnesota is getting the worst blizzard/winter storm it has ever seen in the last 40 years. They are saying travel is life-threatening. Even with that information, the owner has decided to stay open, risking staff and customer’s lives. And for what? Bakery items? No bakery items are worth that risk. Other bakeries have said they plan on closing. Those bakeries also have custom orders they have to refund or figure out how to fulfill. Can this bakery? Nope! Choose a business that practices people first. That’s obviously not Something Sweet. Trust me, those other businesses taste better anyways.P.S. this business owner has no sense of tact. When confronted with the issue, she attacked, calling names. She then deleted the comment for others to read/agree with. This isn’t the first time this author has noticed a lack of tact from this business owner. She has been rude and nasty to others as well.
