Not sure how a $9 sandwich and a 10% tip turns into a $14 charge on card but teenage employees seem a little shady and may be some tip enhancement going on

I lived in Duluth for two years while attending college and this is hands down the best subway I have ever eaten at. It may be busy during lunch and dinner hours but what restaurant isn't. The bread is always fresh and the veggies are exceptional. The employees are always nice and quick with making sandwiches. Joel is the store manager I spoke with and he is very kind and knows how to keep a subway running efficiently and fresh. I will be making a point to eat at this subway whenever I am in town now.

Then they started making my order. Received order at 7:35. Went home had to throw away $56 worth of sandwiches because the massive amount of salt on each sandwich.

In regards to Miss Sally M’s review, I would like to say that this woman went into the business while it was busy and they had only a few amount of workers working at this time. She also left out how she rudely took pictures of the workers which some are MINORS and they didn’t give consent to her to do so. Don’t order 5 sandwiches and expect them done in 3 minutes next time! Thank you!

Ordered off app for a 7:10 pickup. App states to go to counter for pickup. Walked up asked about order, was told I will get my order when they make it. Watched 4 walk in customers receive their order then at 7:35 received my order. When I returned home to FEED family had to throw out $56 worth of sandwiches due to massive amounts of salt on each.

If there was a way to give a review of less than one, I would. Not because of the food, but the poor and unprofessional manager named Stephanie. After reading so many reviews of the same "girl" who has given people such a hard time for no reason besides she is not happy with her position, I decided to contact Subway customer service and write a complaint. To become a manager, it means you have worked your way up the ladder to become a fast food manager by either working there or another place but you've put in time in this industry. Either way, you've been in this career for a while and know that customer service is the main part of your job. I understand that working fast food is not the best job, but jobs are plentiful right now, especially in my area. This woman, I believe her name was Stephanie, was taking my order through the drive-through. I had two sandwiches and a protein bowl. She asked for meat and cheese for both two sandwiches then asked what kind of bowl I wanted. Then she circled back and asked me what I wanted for veggies on the first sandwich, meaning she was completely unorganized and overwhelmed with taking my order. She became extremely impatient, asking "are you done" in a rude tone, then when I said "I'm sorry?", asking her what she said, she yelled back over the speaker "what". I called the store afterwards to talk to a manager, and of course, she was the manager. I asked why she did that and also said the same thing I mentioned before; working fast food is hard but it's a job you chose. You chose customer service. She said "you know what, whatever, bye" then hung up. I don't know how old this individual is or what is going on behind the scenes, but I have met workers from the local dump that had better attitudes than her. Stay away from this location. Not because of the staff, but because if someone like this woman is the manager and treats customers like this, imagine how she is treating the employees, which just creates a domino effect of poor attitudes.
