Haven't not been here in a long time, so I wanted to try it again. But after last night's to go order, I would not recommend this to anyone. It was awful food. We ate it only because we were hungry and I was already home. It's my fault for not checking the to-go boxes before I left. I had been a line cook and sous chef and various restaurants in this area, and I would have never served the food this cook served. Ordered the chicken tender basket and the fish basket and an order of onion rings, and the only thing that wa decent was the onion rings, but they were not overcooked and were super cold. The tenders were super small and dried out and hard. French Fries were barely cooked soggy. The fish for the fish basket was overcooked and burnt and tasteless. I can not believe that the cook would cook any of this food like they did! photos will be in the comments

Wow this place was wonderful. I was really impressed, the waitress, Terri, was super friendly and the food was so delicious. Real down-home American food joint. I had the hot roast beef sandwich in my wife had the hot turkey sandwich followed by a slice of blueberry pie, homemade for only $2.50! Wow! There's a lot of down home charm in this restaurant if you are in Duluth or Superior you definitely got to check this place out.

great place My mom worked there years ago as a waitress and I used to get to go there and hang out with with All the regular customers and then years later I ended up working there as a cook/Dishwasher/prep cook great place Sandy and Dick are the owners! great people great food and great service atmosphere great also!!! I 100 percent recommend going there tell Sandy Tony Lucente Debbie's son sent you!!!

Great place to grab some food and the specials are great! Nice atmosphere with a great jukebox. Grab a drink, settle in, stay awhile, or grab a drink and a bite on the go. Whatever you do, Don't miss this place!

A bad experience for all 7 of us at the table. The pizza oven was off so we couldn’t order the daily special, they had no soup, we ordered the cheesy bread appetizer and instead we received a basket of breadsticks with our meal since the cheesy bread is baked in the oven. 3 of us ordered steak medium rare, two of them came well done and one medium well with little flavor. Lots of the food seemed like it was straight out of the freezer

They gave us breadsticks even though we ordered cheesy bread because they decided the kitchen was too hot to use the pizza oven. The waitress just told it to us matter-of-factly as she set them down like it was no big deal at all and we just had to deal with it.
3 of us ordered medium rare steaks. We received 1 medium well and 2 well done. The food was passable but generally bland. ?

We LOVE this place, although you probably need to fit our demographic. In a word, I would have to say it’s “comfortable”. It’s a great place for good music, a cold beer, a good meal and a pleasant time. Great spaghetti, I recommend it “Dicks Way”, while my wife prefers the regular. The staff and customers quickly become family. Tappa Keg is a second home. My folks were bringing me there when I was just a youngster.

When is the keg tapping ceremony. There's about 3 taps total, 2 being coors and PBR. More bartenders then people hanging out and still can't receive a simple Pabst in your hands. Burn this old stained dump to the ground

I ordered all you can eat fish dinner to go and I got three skimpy pieces of fish A very small portion of french fries, and some coleslaw. for $13 terrible meal. Would not recommend this place to anybody..
