Casper's Cherokee of Eagan Reviews
This place is garbage. I and some friends went there for karaoke. The service was so bad it was tragic - we had to literally yell at the servers as they passed to get any attention. And when it came our time at karaoke they let random kids charge up and take the mic away. Totally avoid this place.
We had a fantastic lunch yesterday! Dining out with a family member with dementia is always a challenge, but thanks to our server Rachel, everything went smoothly. She noticed we were trying to prop up my mom’s doll on the empty chair when our ribs arrived, and next thing we knew, she returned with a high chair for dolly.
We have been dining with you for many years, starting with the original Cherokee in West St. Paul. Thank you, Rachel and thank you, Casper family!
Casper's did an AWESOME job last night with our large group. From handling our
reservations to the food & personable service, they made our family get together a wonderful evening. Thank you to each of you!

Casper's Cherokee of Eagan is a popular restaurant that offers a warm and inviting dining experience. The food is consistently praised, with highlights including the house soup, Reuben egg rolls, burgers, and the turkey dinner. Customers frequently mention that the steaks are always perfectly cooked, and the au gratin potatoes are a standout, being hard to find elsewhere in the Twin Cities area. A side salad, with very good blue cheese, and warm bread come included with meals, making it good value since most items aren’t overpriced or served à la carte.
The staff is described as very pleasant, accommodating, and friendly, often going the extra mile to ensure guests feel comfortable. For example, they provided a high chair for a doll during a family celebration. The atmosphere is cozy with a "barn" theme, and there are plenty of TVs for game day, along with lively karaoke that adds to the fun, although some feel the audio could be improved by reducing bass and increasing lyrical clarity.
Customers have enjoyed celebrating special occasions, such as an 18th birthday party in the loft, praising the staff as amazing and the overall experience as fun and memorable. The restaurant has a long-standing history, with some customers having dined there since the original Cherokee location in West St. Paul. It handles large groups well and offers a welcoming, family-like environment, with some describing it as feeling like a "family reunion." The nachos are also a favorite menu item, and many appreciate the casual, friendly vibe that makes Casper's Cherokee of Eagan a well-liked spot for quality food and great service.
