My sister and I went to Southern Social in Eagan tonight. Nicholas E was our server. He was fabulous! Made us laugh, so kind, and fun. The food was delicious! Those deviled eggs are divine! Happy hour house wine was good too and great price. Loved everything!

If you want a bar with a slightly upscale corporate vibe that also serves some mediocre food, this is a good choice. A recent brunch visit included dishes that seemed likely to be right out of a prefab factory, prepped and served amiably enough by folks who had no real relationship to it. OJ was poorly mixed from concentrate (twice), food ingredients were the right colors but flavorless, and the decor was open and high-ceilinged, but without any real detail, or character.

My wife and I decided to try Southern Social because it’s close to our home. We fell in love with the burgers and our AMAZING server, Meghan! She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, had phenomenal recommendations and was an utter delight. Meghan made this place our new favorite hang out!!

I walked in sat in the bar area. Server was attentive. I order a bloody Mary which was good. She gave me a small goblet of beer to go with it. I order their chicken and waffles and it was delicious.

The burger I had was not that great.the burger patty was dense and dry. I had take out and the container was air tight and my fries continued steam and where pretty mushy by the time I got back to work to eat them.
