my family and I had dinner, and the server spilled sauce all over my husband and I. it ended up ruining a very expensive purse I had with me. the server pretty much said "my bad that happens all the time" and gave us a rag to clean everything up. I called later an d talked to the manager, and he accused me of lieing because I didn't have a receipt to prove I ate there, or possibly I was mistaken and ate at a different restaurant but just didn't remember. Ansari's Mediterranean Grill & Craft Beer Lounge is an upscale dive bar with an atmosphere where you can talk, or party next to another group and still feel private enough to get wild. The Mediterranean based cuisine is too die for. The steak hummus with jalapeno-cilantro hummus + veggie plate is always, always as good as remembered. The food was phenomenal, with fantastic food and service. The server looked cool, acted cool. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu, super friendly, and genuinely cared about the experience. This place is one of the best beer bars in the twin cities, with the best beer list ever. Constantly rotating, well served, modern trends balanced with classic beers.
