“I just came here to say these were the best bang bang skrimp wraps I've ever had. crunch, on point! sauce, on point! even the slaw which I'm usually not a huge fan of by itself, on point! perfect portion, cherry coke on tap was great too! My friend had the nachos and they were huge, although they were served in a large bowl, I would find it easier for cheese distribution if served on a platter of some sort but that's about it, still recommending!“

“Excellent location with a beautiful patio. The menu is easy to understand and the options for hand rolls are many. I enjoyed 5 different hand rolls and all were delicious. The miso soup was particularly good as well. Highly recommended and a great options for groups and families given the family friendly menu. The non-dairy mochi is also a nice dessert option!“

“North Star Tavern absolutely crushed it for our group! We had our reservation double at the very last minute and they not only accommodated us, but were able to get us in earlier too. The host who helped coordinate everything was incredibly kind, patient, and accommodating. I really wish I had gotten his name because he made the whole experience so easy. And Riley, our server, despite being a Packer fan 😉, was fantastic. She handled our large group like a pro and gave us excellent service the entire time with a smile on her face. Also…that Brussel sprout salad is an absolute banger. 10/10 all around!“

“A local Rochester, MN restaurant chain -now branching out to a new location- Newt’s (Apple Valley) brings everything we love about the Rochester locations (GREAT burgers, beers, and unlimited popcorn!) to our little corner of the Metro. We were stoked when we heard Newt’s had arrived, and our first visit there certainly delivered. The food and atmosphere were excellent. Great service too! Welcome to our neighborhood Newt’s. “The nachos were amazing! We ordered with chicken and it was loaded, we debated on getting another order but we were going somewhere else for dinner. The sauce on it was perfect. Three people ordered beers and I got an iced coffee, all delicious. Picnic tables were kept clean and a nice spot to sit outdoors and take in summer. The service only gets 2 stars because there were lots of people working they just didn't seem to be on the same page working together. Also the young girl bringing out food to tables was wearing very short booty shorts and kept pulling at her shorts to cover her butt. Not something you want to see at all and definitely not with your food.“
