25-year customer of Italian Pie Shoppe They had there struggled the past year, but I will say they are doing a fine job now. We were in restaurant Saturday night, and it was very busy, the staff is up to speed. The food is awesome! we had deep dish, and it was cooked perfect. Remember this is a small business, and not a large chain. They get busy and may. need to throttle back from time to time. If you are a customer and haven't been in a year or so, go back.

LOOOOOVE this place! If you're looking for amazing pizza or "yes please" Italian cheese fries, this is the place to go. Jen is the absolute most amazing and fun waitress. And I have always loved the mobster/20s theme they have.

Was expecting a lot more when I went in. The staff were friendly, greeted us, and walked us to our table. However, the professionalism ends there- the wait times on ordering, food, and final payment took much longer than needed. The food itself was mediocre, mostly tasting like frozen food baked in a conventional oven. This resulted in unevenly cooked chicken nuggets (1 lb of nuggets is not as much as you expect), and soggy pizza crust with not fully melted cheese. While the staff may be friendly, the service itself was lacking, and many improvements could be made to the way food is prepared and served, for efficiency's sake. However, the atmosphere was nice, and decorations fit the style nicely. Also bathrooms are in a separate room with a door, before you get to the actual bathrooms. Small confusion for us.

Have tried them 5-7 times over the years and always felt they were overpriced and unorganized. Today is the last straw. We paid over $60 for two large pizzas and a sandwich, one of the pizzas was supreme. The sandwich was good, the supreme pizza was blah, soggy crust and veggies were undercooked and way too many veggies. The meat was good but literally drowning in green peppers and onions. One of the onion pieces was huge...like who wants a 1.5 inch triangle piece of onion. With that said, for this price, Briano's is solid or carboni's is decent.
To begin, I should have gotten a Deep-Dish ?, but I didn’t want to wait the 30-45 minutes because we had craft shows to get to. I love deep dish and that probably would have been better. For me, it’s SO hard to outdo Red’s Savoy thin crust, and these pies didn’t do it. The ? was boring, and the ranch wasn’t great, but it was a good value for $5.00. The pizzas themselves were okay, though the Margherita version here was the strangest I’ve seen. Where is the fresh basil? Where are the globs of fresh mozzarella? Neither of those are included in the description, but that’s what I expect and not the reality that we got. This place has been on my list for years, so I’m sort of bummed it wasn’t better. It’s got an old school vibe that I really enjoyed, and our waitress was talkative and friendly despite being the only one working that day. I will say that the booths are TIGHT. Thankfully, the seats move a bit, but if that’s a concern for you, I recommend heading to a table.

Ordered the lasagna with olives and sun dried tomatoes. This is the only place we have been able to find that doesn’t have meat in their sauce. Made us happy! :) docking a star because of the bread that came with it. We look forward to returning.

Excellent food and service every time we go. Delicious pizza and pasta, not overly loud. Good wine selection and reasonable prices. Kid friendly. Highly recommend.

Picked up a Mac n cheese pizza. Medium $15. Looks under cooked. But overall didn't have much for toppings. We expected a lot more noodles. Like a solid layer or so of noodles. There was like 2 - 3 penne noodles per slice with mostly some cheese and bacon it tasted like breakfast. Would be good with lots more penne noodles like a solid layer or so of them. And maybe add in green pepper? Maybe we should of gone to the St Paul location? Kinda wanted to also try the white pizza and the meat or veggie deep dish, but not sure now that this one fell short.
