I'm never disappointed when dining in or ordering takeaway. Unique and inviting atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Baked goods are fabulous, and the selection of food offers something for everyone. Prices may seem slightly steep, but they are on par with other similar quality establishments. Love dining at Bernie's!

Might've been the best donut I've ever had - blistered but perfectly brown exterior, and pillowy brioche texture interior with not-too-sweet chocolate frosting and the slightly crunch of sprinkles. Perfection.

Took 40 minutes for someone to take our orders or even speak to us after being seated. Had to ask for more water or for service. There isn’t that much on the menu and they are overly expensive for the amount of food that you get. I spent $40 to be quite unsatisfied. I do not think we will be back. Just go to perkins instead lol

Lovely atmosphere with amazing food! Everything we had was great- including a treat from the bakery. We also really enjoyed browsing in the little market area and taking home a couple of treasures! A wonderful place to eat and just enjoy a good meal!

The place is open and bright. The food fresh, delicious and unique (in a homey way). The Market space has lots of interesting local items and international items.Wheelchair accessibility: The place has 2 levels and a solid ramp is there. Both entrances are flush with the sidewalk. Lots of space to maneuver and different seating options.

So disappointing!!The employees are clueless!! Imagine that!! Ugh!!Not a great idea to open a restaurant, seems disorganized, & half the dishes were not available. Not going here again!! Just because you have a tv show doesn’t mean you need to open a restaurant. One or the other!!

The knoephla soup was amazing. But, I have to say things went down from there . We had to ask for napkins and silverware. The menu stated," ham with MAYO on a croissant. It came with a mustard flavored mayo! Not for me! I should have been asked if we wanted the alternative! The croissant was so hard and crispy, that we just ate the meat out of it. It will be a long time before we return.

Wonderful service and nice clean place, but the food was not very flavorful- and it was quite expensive. We got knoephla soup for my husband, hotdish for our son, and a patty melt for me. The hotdish was surprisingly spicy (which of course our toddler wasn't a fan of), and consisted of beans, wilted greens, and chopped tomatoes. I was hoping for some meat in that meal- meat is important for kids' development. Oh, well, they're fairly new- maybe the food will improve! Everything else about the restaurant was good, especially the friendly waitstaff.

The Breakfast Burrito looked like it came right from Girl meet’s farm show. Flavors were excellent with a perfect crispness to the shell. Breakfast sandwiches were very tasty on home made bread and the coffee was rich tasting. Service was very good and a fun place to stop for breakfast. Pastries look wonderful and taste as good as they look.Kid-friendliness: Great place to bring the kids

What a lovely place! A former co-worker told me to check this out during a business trip to Grand, Forks. I had no idea that GF had a restaurant from Food Network!I love the style of the interior- art deco meets farmhouse. Super cute and an amazing bar in the middle. Our service was excellent. Kind and friendly.I had the grilled cheese with pickle… and added bacon. So good!I can’t wait to come back for their baked goods!!

This was our second time dining at Bernie's (first was dinner, second was brunch). We shared a few items among our group and they were all phenomenal! The breakfast sandwich on a fresh croissant was probably the winner but the oatmeal had great flavor as well as the burrito. We were seated right away, our server was very attentive, and the place was busy without feeling busy. It wasn't loud and we never felt crowded. And there were plenty of fresh baked goods available for us to purchase to bring home. We loved out of town but can't wait to go back!
