This may have been my most disappointing brunch experience ever. The food was cold and low quality. We received burnt waffles, cold Mac n cheese, and rock hard egg sandwiches. Our group waited one hour for a table and then another hour to get our food. There was nothing wrong with the atmosphere but everything else was subpar at best. I would not recommend getting the breakfast food at this place. Nearly my entire group of six did not enjoy their meals. The service was also very slow for simple orders.

It’s absolutely a dive bar, but the $9 burger Iate on a Friday after a long work week is unbeatable. I’ve never had a bad meal or anything less than great service. The Spud is easily one of Grand Forks’ most reliable staples for real good finger food and a solid drink.

Came in here for dinner and to watch the game.The bar / restaurant was roomy with multiple TV screens. Our waitress was friendly but she forgot about our drink order a few times. There was a crazy man who was walking around the bar and restaurant talking to himself. He also had large stick, a cane, and misc personal items spread on the bar area. It really made the bar area look unwelcoming. A few times he came up to us and started talking gibberish and also to the couple behind us. We also saw him do the same to a couple of other tables when people were eating. The bartender and the waitress literally allowed this guy to continue his irrational behavior because they walked past him multiple times but chose to ignore him. Once we got our food we ate as quickly as possible. The burgers were good. The stuffed tater tots were tasty. The salad wasn't bad.We and the other table got the check because that crazy man was making us uncomfortable.We spoke to the waitress to let her know that this person was obviously making the customers in the restaurant uncomfortable and that we were leaving because of it. She said she noticed him early on but she didn't seem to want to deal with it.Overall, the food was pretty good. The whole experience with the staff allowing the crazy person talking to himself walk up to the customers at the restaurant, was horrible.
