“We used Deco Catering for our wedding and overall had a great experience. The pasta bar was a huge hit—guests loved it, and I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free and vegan options. It came with breadsticks, salad, and protein choices, which made it feel like a complete meal. The cake was delicious, and they also offered a vegan/GF chocolate mousse that was a big success. We added three appetizers (spanakopita, bacon-wrapped dates, and potato bites with dill sour cream), all of which were quickly eaten, plus a late-night pretzel and cheese bar that everyone raved about. Leading up to the day, the company was excellent to work with—very communicative, helpful, and the tasting beforehand was such a fun, reassuring part of the process. They also went above and beyond with setup, arranging linens and folding napkins at no extra charge. That said, I do have some complaints about the day-of service. The staff on-site seemed disorganized: food came out later than planned, there was a lot of confusion around serving the vegan and GF meals, and unfortunately one of our tiramisus was never cut or served despite people asking for it. I couldn’t find anyone to help with it, and I also never got the leftovers back, so it felt like $80 wasted and such a shame because it was so tasty. We also almost didn’t get our cake leftovers returned either—it only happened because I happened to run into an attendant in the parking lot who had them (maybe in one of their cars). Despite those hiccups, the food itself was wonderful, and the planning process was smooth and stress-free. I’d still recommend Deco Catering for their creative menu options and helpful team, but I’d advise couples to be very clear about expectations for the day-of staff to avoid similar issues.“

“I recently attended the NAWBO Gala at the Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom, and I was genuinely impressed by the entire experience. The space was elegant, beautifully designed, and the chandeliers added a stunning touch that made the evening feel special. Everything was well put together and comfortable, creating a great atmosphere for networking and celebration. As a wedding planner in the Twin Cities, I can easily see this venue being perfect for weddings or stylish events in the future. The Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom is a beautiful, versatile space that truly stands out.“

“My daughter and I are acai bowl connoisseurs and have had acai bowls all over this country. We both agree that this is far and away the best we've ever had. It is the most delicious acai and the most generous amount. I always get the same thing. Classic bowl with extra peanut butter, cocoa nibs and coconut flakes added to the granola and banana. At home I add my own blueberries and strawberries. I try to limit myself to 2 or 3 a week but the cravings are powerful.“

“I ordered a fudge Carmel drizzle ice cream cake for a grad party. Nothing in the middle or on the bottom. It came just plan white. I reached out and was contacted by the manager who was very nice and helped make the situation better.

We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a hog roast/catering service for their parties!! “We had Twin Cities Catering handle a 35 person family event and they were phenomenal. They delivered and set up all of the food. We did their appetizers menu where we had chicken kabobs, charcuterie, and a mozzarella antipasto platter. Everyone enjoyed the food and it was very well presented. “We had Old Southern Bbq cater for our wedding and it was absolutely an amazingly positive experience! The director of catering, Amy, was so helpful and on top of everything. The catering team was absolutely wonderful! All of our guests ranted and raved about the food all night, especially the potato salad and the cornbread muffin tops. Would definitely recommend!“

“Did a small trial with deli Double and loved the food, value and service. They catered a meeting and everyone loved the food. Starting with the delicious assortment of nut breads, donuts and baked treats followed by super fresh fruits. The variety of generously filled sandwiches were a big hit including the requested gluten free bread on a few and a few veggie only sandwiches. Gourmet chicken salad sandwich on croissant was amazing. The coffee stayed hot all day and still tasted good. The variety tray of bars/cookies was delicious and that baby field green salad with honey balsamic dressing was a highlight for sure! “I attended an event hosted by Friends of the Mississippi River MN. Native Harvest provided catering for our 2hr Ferry Boat ride. They provided all the separate ingredients for the Wild Rice bowls, various desserts and bruit. The bowls were delicious and they kindly let us take extra home with us! If I’m ever in need of a catering company for a future personal event, I would definitely go with them! Food was amazing.“
