“These things are straight up delicious. About a year ago I had a coupon for a free bowl, and at that time I did not even know what the word "açaí" meant. Was it a fruit? A yoga pose? An international animation style? Whatever it is (okay I know now that it's a berry that is high in antioxidants) it makes for tasty bowls of sweetness. When I stopped in most recently I got the "Dual Bowl", which contained açaí and pitaya (aka dragonfruit) sorbets, topped with banana, strawberries, and granola. It tasted super, super good. Its sweetness makes it satisfying on a dessert level, but it's both nutritious and filling enough that I kind of want to treat it like a lunch entree. Also since these bowls are in the ten-dollar range, it makes more sense to me to think of it that way. But really, the main draw for me is how good these things taste. Between all of their different sorbet and topping options, they have a huge amount of variety. They also have a ton of smoothies made with Greek yogurt, and really just a wide range of offerings that use healthy-berry sorbets. A lot of their sorbets are made in house, and you can tell they are very serious about the health benefits of their ingredients. This is really very much a place that anyone should at least try.“

“I attended a 1920’s party at the Metropolitan Ballroom and had an absolutely fantastic time. The extra money for VIP tickets was totally worth it, the vip lounge was awesome. The music was great. There was a table of old folks in the bottle service area that were dancing up a storm, and I really appreciated how this event brought people of all drinking ages together. Would definitely attend another event here without question.“

“Did a small trial with deli Double and loved the food, value and service. They catered a meeting and everyone loved the food. Starting with the delicious assortment of nut breads, donuts and baked treats followed by super fresh fruits. The variety of generously filled sandwiches were a big hit including the requested gluten free bread on a few and a few veggie only sandwiches. Gourmet chicken salad sandwich on croissant was amazing. The coffee stayed hot all day and still tasted good. The variety tray of bars/cookies was delicious and that baby field green salad with honey balsamic dressing was a highlight for sure! “Overall, the food was decent, but a bit pricey. I did like the beans, though the portion was small. The corn muffin was good, as was the chicken, but I wouldn't mind a full-sized piece of cornbread, as opposed to this thing called a muffin top. The pickled garnish was good but also too small a portion. (The chicken is tiny, which I've noticed in other places too. I suspect the growers are harvesting them at a much younger age so they don't have to spend as much money feeding them and can get them to market quicker.) The ribs were a bit tough and, I wasn't tasting the smoke as much as I'd like. I will say, it doesn't help that my gums and teeth aren't in the best shape, so there's that. If I return, I'll stick to the chicken and try one of the other meats.“
