Hawaii Poke Bowl

There was a lot of uncooked rice pieces in both mine and my husband’s poke bowls. How do you mess up the easiest part of the bowl, which is also the base? It was a terrible texture.

My first time eating at the Hawaii Poke Bowl. We arrived at 8:45pm and we greeted with we close in 15 minutes.. and rolling eyes. There was 2 other people in front of us.. we order our food, I order a smoothie & was told no, as the blender was already cleaned, rolled her eyes again. We were paying and she asked, is this to go. I said we will dine in, she rolled her eyes again and said, we close in 10 minutes!!! We ate our food.. Which was wonderful, 5 stars on the food.. she came to our table at 9pm.. and said. We are now closed!!!!! Im like, ok we are almost done.. she rolled her eyes again..
I loved the restaurant, the food was fresh and amazing,, the girl needs major restaurants service training... She will kill your business.. look up my receipt as your last customer of the night.. 9/15/25 at 8:45pm

My office orders from here often, and today we had a pickup order for 9 people. There was only 1 woman working - there was a man there as well, but it was his first day and she was obviously doing most of the work. I just wanted to say that she carried herself very professionally and handled the customers with grace, even though the lunch rush was overwhelming. Maybe someone called in sick or something, but it was unfortunate that she was basically there alone. Hopefully that is not the norm, and if it is - there definitely needs to be someone else staffed that is NOT a new person. This girl definitely deserves a raise or promotion or both - she clearly knows her stuff and cares about her job.

It was a slow moment in restaurant. Was addressed as soon as I walked to counter. Restaurant was clean. Food was yummy.

The poke bowls are always delicious and fresh here. We received friendly and helpful service-especially when determining what sauce to use on a create your own bowl.

The sushi there is better than some of the restaurants I go to that claim to have high quality sushi. The staff is always enjoyable and efficient. This place also has a relaxing environment with some cool in the background. Many restaurants I go to that have good sushi bowls charge more money by far and you get less. Overall, I've been going here for years and appreciate this place staying open. THANK YOU and see you soon.

I’m a regular here, and every time I visit, I’m always greeted with a familiar and friendly face (MK). She consistently goes above and beyond to make sure my bowl is exactly the way I like it. Her attention to detail, genuine kindness, and exceptional service make every visit a great experience. MK truly makes a difference, and it’s always a pleasure to be served by her!

It is a good place for bowls. I am not sure I would say it stands above any other poke bowl shop I have been to, but the ingredients were fresh and appeared good quality. They had greens, rice or quinoa options and several protein options (or you can load up edamame if you are veg) good flavor/sauce agents. We did build your own, and it was good. I don't typically do the predefined option as they have a few items I don't love, but maybe I will leave them out or substitute next time 🤔
The add-ons both veg/flavor and texture options covered a wide range. Staff was friendly and they serviced adequately. It is high end fast food, and I think met the mark.
I would definitely go back. And they ALMOST hit the 4 star rating, but just didn't quite stand out above anyother high end fast food place in EP. A good alternative, though, to the numerous burger and tex-mex saturation.
Not really into smoothies so can't say much.

This was the worst poke bowl place I have ever been to.
I ordered a 3 protein rice bowl with salmon, tofu, and ahi tuna with cucumber and edamame. it was $17.50 a little overpriced but that was not the main problem. The poke bowl was incredibly dry and they only gave me 6 pieces of salmon which was not fresh. they gave me so much ahi tuna and it was terribly prepared. and little to no rice at the bottom. The cucumber was gross and covered half the poke bowl size. The tofu was dry and tasted like paint. But, how can you mess up soy sauce!?! It tasted more like alcohol than any other soy sauce ever. It tasted terrible. And the service tricked me into buying the drink and some did not know how to make the dish. The atmosphere was meh. Go to JJ's, it is way better and cheaper for poke bowls. 1 star.

I came here for the first time this morning, and I had MK serve me , she was super patient and the other girl next to her was also very nice with me , they let me take my time and also let me try samples. I ended up ordering the tuna lover bowl as MK said that was her favorite bowl , and it didn’t disappoint me. The bowl has enough veggies in there and lots of fish and crab in there . I will for sure be back to try the dragon bowl next time !
