Wow this place is horrible compared to the other sawatadee. I have been ordering from mpls. for tears I ordered I ordered my favorite from eden prarie and I don't even know what to call what got. I ordered the larb salad. It was slimy and tasted off. The meet was in big chunks. Maybe they need to study thai cooking to know what it's supposed to be like.. I have had larb many places including sawatadee. What I got was not it. I'm afraid to order anything else from there. It will ruin the memory of the other stores.

The spicy noodles have zero spice and are very bland. I complained to Grubhub because they were not only missing part of my order, but I thought they must have ordered me the wrong noodles. I was wrong, it was the restaurant's fault. They didn't complete the order and apologized for that, but their response to the "spicy" noodles not being spicy was "the customer never specified he wanted them spicy." I responded to GH that of course I wanted them spicy, that's why I ordered a dish literally called "spicy noodles." GH said they understand, but that is just what the restaurant is saying. That's ridiculous...and I'm not saying they were just not as spicy as I would have liked, I'm saying they had absolutely zero spice! GH did refund for the missing item and even sent me a $10 off coupon for the horrible noodles. If the noodles were at least flavorful, I could get past the non spicy part, but they were extremely bland. The only part that had any flavor were the two small slices of tomato they put in there. I will not be ordering from here again.

The quality of this Thai food wasn't the best. I can't say I enjoyed it. Rather I ate it because I was hungry. The delivery process was ok even though I tried to call the restaurant to adjust a minor detail (spicy levels) and was hung up on. Couldn't get a response after several calls. Don't think I'll order from here again. I'm new to the neighborhood.

Very tasty and reasonably priced. Food comes fast and service is great.

The food tonight was very disappointing. We didn't like any of our dishes and we normally love Thai. Unfortunately we won't be going back here.

Terrific lunch buffet Wednesday through Friday! They rotate the choices for variety and they're all wonderful. Couldn't give them 10 stars but it's been that good of dining to me. Love to stop in for supper sometime but not able to feedback more than thier lunchtime.

Best Thai food around. Take out always ready on time and fast friendly sit down service!

A hidden gem. A beautiful quiet spot tucked away between a lot of standard fare American food establishments. You might not think much just looking at the outside but inside a tranquil oasis. Everything was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and eager to please. We never had to think to ask for anything. Truly a memorable experience.

I usually LOVE the Sawatdee restaurants but this one was sub par. The ingredients in my dish did not seem fresh and were not prepared spicy enough. The spring rolls were wrapped much too large but the flavor was "okay". This is a one and done for me.

I'm a big guy, so I like buffets. Still, the idea that I can pay one price and eat as much as I can still intrigues me. It almost feels like a challenge every time someone offers me unlimited amount of something for one price. Lol. Appearance/Atmosphere: There isn't much to say here about this category. The place is huge, which is a good thing. Since it's a part of a plaza it gets the luxury of the high ceilings that I'm sure every business on the strip gets to have. Not much decor, no paintings on the wall or anything. Booths and tables are spread WAY out, almost as if they didn't have enough to fill the space. Lol. You never have to worry about bumping into anyone and there's even outdoor space for the warmer times of the year. It's quiet and not too loud for the most part. I've only ever come at lunch time, so I assumed it would be quite busy, but it never seems to be. Service: Pretty good! Nothing to complain about at all. Water stayed filled, I was checked on often and I was happy. Food: The first time I came here I was craving pho, which is why I chose this place. I forgot how much pho fills you up so I ordered their cream cheese wontons to start. Very tasty, hot, crispy with creamy inside all to go along with the sweet & sour dipping sauce. Now the pho, delicious. Salty, savory, bursting with flavor and fresh. So filling. It was beef pho I believe so the beef continued to cook in the broth as you ate or drank the soup, however you want to take it. The 2nd time I came I opted to get the buffet so I could try a variety of things. It was okay. I couldn't tell you what dishes were out on the buffet, but I can tell you I enjoyed them, very much. Lol. Those cream cheese wontons were there though! You can't go wrong with all-you-can-eat. Value: Good! Buffet runs you about $12.00 I believe. Cream cheese wontons were around $6.00 and the pho hit for $9.95 if I can remember. I'm sorry, I don't have the receipts right in front of me. Great pricing for a good lunch though. Better than eating McDonald's, but not quite dining at Morton's Steakhouse. Lol. In conclusion this is a pretty average place to come for lunch, but I'd come over and over again. The food is on par, there's never a wait and it's close by the job.

I think the waitresses are starting to recognize me when i come for my takeout order. I am obsessed with their tofu pad Thai! I get mine at a level 5, with extra peanuts. The portions are enough for at least 2-3 meals. I recommend the spring rolls also. Happy hour specials are pretty good too.

How disappointing. Only 6 tables occupied in the place, yet our food took 50 minutes. My beer took 20 minutes (before being informed they didn't have what was on the menu) then another 15 minutes later, I received the drink. The summer pad thai was good. The green curry was NOT. Questionable done-ness of the chicken, poor presentation, just did not taste good. Completely underwhelmed by the visit.

Me and my boyfriend love Thai food, and we both are vegan so we always call/email in advance to see what items are cruelty free. In the email I recieved I was told that the pad Thai can be vegan if ordered without eggs and fish sauce (no surprise there, that's pretty typical), and stir fries can be made vegan if ordered without fish/oyster sauce (also pretty normal). Unfortunately, like most Thai restaurants, the curry pastes themselves contain shrimp, therefore making them u

I love Thai food and have been to the St. Paul location of Sawatdee. In my experience, takeout from this location (Eden Prairie) is really hit or miss. Staff ask you for a spice rating out of 5, and a 2 could either mean incredibly bland or a ton of spice thrown in but not well-mixed. Because my experience with takeout has been poor, I don't think I'll dine in. It's tough because this restaurant has a very convenient location - I want to like it so much, I've tried a few times - but this just isn't my favorite place.
