Our favorite Schezwan string beans were delivered hot - however, they were very woody and had to be sent back. The Pad Thai was unusually bland this time around. Unfortunate situation - won't be back for quite a while.

We ate outside, which is always nice. The patio looks over the parking lot, which isn't ideal, but still better than indoors with AC. The food is consistently good and generous portions. They have great gluten-free options.

There seems to be a confusion at host table as the manager doesn't seem to have info of my reservation, but my two friends were already seated. Overall service is great once I get to my table though.

We did the make your own bowl... very good... has gone up in price quite a bit. For 2 bowls, pot stickers and one lemonade with tip $74.00. Our server not great... took a long time to get back to us, not super friendly. then said she was going to bring us cookies, but never did. The male host was very pleasant!

There are multiple similar options in the Twin Cities to dine at. The food is good but doesn't warrant the prices. Service was horrible, and the restaurant was only at half capacity. Will not recommend, go elsewhere.

I had Kung Pau Chicken. I have this every time I go, but usually go to the Minnetonka restaurant. The chicken was terrible. It was so hard and crispy I thought it was bone pieces. Very dry in the middle so either over cooked or reheated and burnt/overcooked. At one point I had to spit a piece out that was not chicken at all. It was the worst meal I'd ever had. I would have sent it back but was in a conversation with someone and didn't want to disturb that. I just picked at the rice and peanuts. If I'd been there socially or with family I'd returned it or just left. The bill was also higher than expected. I've had 2 other bad experiences at the Edina location. That's the last time I'll go to the Edina Big Bowl.
